Make sure everyone is following the rules as Ablation has laid out.

Like Nano the goal is 50k words in one month. Because I don't have access to all the lovely stuff Tarot does, we will have to count words a little differently. You will sign up anytime (though obviously before the first makes the most sense) and then begin writing. You will make a note on each IC post of the word count. When a post is done you will post the word count here (incl. a link to the post) and it will be added to the official score. This is because the numbers on your left are not actually accurate, thus we will not be going by these. Only IC words count (get it!) Not OOC notes or posts or plotting. I will randomly be checking peoples posts to make sure the word count is accurate ;p So no inflating your numbers chickpeas.

Some of you are not. Please make sure you are.

Hey guys,

As Goss said, everyone should be following the rules. However, almost everyone has been getting their word count wrong when they are posting here (or maybe more accurately everyone is using a different program that is counting it different...it's counting...I don't see how that should happen. But it is. So either way, I will be counting the word count for every single submission that comes through here. While I appreciate laying out the word count on your submissions I am genuinely not using them anymore, I am counting them myself. So if you don't want to include them, that is fine.

EDIT: I will not be posting corrections to the word counts anymore because of this...everyone's word counts were off. For most people it balanced out (within a word or two in the end) but for some it was off by a couple hundred words (those of you who I PM'd and you added words to your posts you were missing, thank you).

I'm sorry to hear about the whole word count thing, though I'd think I'm one of the within-one-or-two-words people, as I am using a word counter that is off by 95 words for reasons unknown.

In other news, I stole my spot back from Caela with 15,602 words. I feel as if I have accomplished something.

Rawr, I'm getting there! I am currently writing a thread that has my attention pinned like those balloons at the city fairs! I recently requested permission for a new NPC and now that he has been approved, I have been typing a new thread non stop. There's nothing getting in the way of this bullet train, haha! Hey Guys,

As some of you know I separated my shoulder a while ago and was pretty hung up on pain meds. >_< I'm sorry for loitering in chat and not updating stuff here but I could hardly focus on simple chit chat in The Chat let alone trying to count and add on here. I rarely take pain meds in general so I was more than a little out of it and I have sent more than a few amusing PMs to people where the meds butchered my English. Anyway, I am finally pain free (well...compared to last week) and have caught up on all the backlog at work! Back to updates! Let us see what has happened this week!
