Endiir is a rugged man, grey strands sprout between the natural taupe of his shoulder-length hair, which is parted between the middle to avoid any unnecessary obstruction of his vision. Wrinkles are beginning to become more prominent as the days slip by, his chocolate irides are embroidered with dirty, albeit fair skin, his complexion being rather chalky. With thick lips and an unshaven jawline, Endiir definitely does well in displaying his masculinity, although theatricality never was a strong-point of his and his unkempt appearance is likely for conveniences sake.
Character Concept
Due Endiir's foreboding appearance and the general assumption that one should give him a wide birth, due to possessing an innate hostility, most avoid the unkempt man, but these rumors and tales couldn't be farther from the truth. Endiir is a lively fellow, enjoying the very best the world has to offer whilst making some easy coin on the side. With a warm inviting attitude, the man finds little difficulty in acquainting himself with the local population of wherever he happens to be.
Endiir is in fact a sellsword, a not-so-heroic nomad whom slips between civilizations, offering his services in turn for an adequate payout, living his life on the road and travelling with any caravan willing to shelter him. A competent swordsman, Endiir openly carts about a iron bastard sword, supported at his waistline and sheathed in a thick cured leather scabbard.
Character History
Born in Sunberth, Endiir was subject to the common atrocities present within the lawless town, having been orphaned as an infant and taken in by a relatively poor family, he spent the majority of his adolescence scrounging for scraps and making the most of his situation, learning to fight in the midst of it all. With long branches, Endiir taught himself to wield a weapon at a young age, and as he grew, he was eventually given a bastard sword, an heirloom within his adoptive family, the weapon of a true warrior and then putting it to use. Upon his coming of age, Endiir departed, with naught but a tent and a few loaves of bread to assist in his survival. It was a risky decision, one that nearly cost him his life several times in the opening weeks of his departure, although he eventually found refuge in a small guarded caravan, consisting primarily of merchants and other entrepreneurs alike. Hired for his assistance in upholding the safety of the travelling congregation, Endiir received his first pay, something which spurred him into a relentless search for wealth, leading him down the path of a Sellsword, where he still lingers.
Many years passed alongside a myriad of conflicts that Endiir had be prominently involved with, travelling to the very corners of Mizahar to offer his renowned services. Now forty-three, the beginnings of age are taking a toll on his endurance and constant travel seems less and less like a viable option for him. Having arrived in Syliras, he seeks to recuperate, mend wounds and perhaps find some work. Where will this great city lead him?
