18th Day of Spring,514
Russell woke up particularly late that morning, he was drowsy, and the whole room looked blurry in a way that was hard to describe. As he looked around the room he couldn’t help but find that it was a little difficult to see everything, it was something that was occurring more and more often as of recent. He sat up on his bed and set his feet down onto the floor, the cold floor gave him a bit of a jump, but this was once more something that occurred on a daily basis. He cupped his chin and allowed his elbow to rest upon his leg as he thought about his day.
Russell didn’t have anything planned for the rest of the day so the answer was simple, he should go to visit his Master and see what the man had to teach him for the day, it was strange thinking of someone as such, Russell was prideful and there was no way he would ever call him such out loud. With a sigh he stood up and put on his clothes, his vision was back to normal, and his body didn’t feel all that hot anymore, it was still far from normal. Even if he was in a dream-like state he couldn’t seem to sleep, memories of pain kept on flashing through his mind, and his body seemed to be able to remember it too as his movements seemed to be rather slow.
He got changed into his usual set of clothes, a dark blue cloak which he fastened up, a pair of dark brown trousers with matching shoes and a white shirt. Once he got dressed Russell went to get ready, a quick brush of his teeth and a comb through his hair later Russell was ready head out to whatever place he needed to be, but not before eating a quick ration bar, he didn’t have the time to head out to get something to eat he wanted to spend as much time as he could learning.
Russell then proceeded to leave Tarsin’s boarding house, it was a quaint place, and it would do until he made enough money to afford a place of his own, a good place that is. Russell didn’t want your run of the mill home after-all. He went through the streets of Ravok at a rather steady pace, good thing Miro’s place was within walking distance from the back-streets of the docks, and so was his own place of residence. It took a bit of time finding his way home the night before; the pain didn’t make it easier. Russell’s walk looked more awkward than it usually did, and he couldn’t even notice it himself.
He found himself within the area that could be called the back streets of the docks, a bunch of homeless people were hiding away, scared of possible slavers, or even your cruel wizard, Russell didn’t have the ability to take the high road in this situation, he himself was guilty of having done harm to these men at one point or another, he even smiled about it as he thought back to it.
Russell was beginning to near Miro’s place of residence, it was difficult getting used to how homes were built in Ravok, but an individual was given far more space than someone who lived within Syliras so he really had no complaints whatsoever. It was more akin to giving a donkey who’d been stuck in a shed for 10 years an entire field to play with, although Russell would never refer to himself as such a disgusting creature. Soon enough Russell made his way up to Miro’s apartment home and knocked on the door a few times. ”Miro Sir it’s Russell.” He made sure to speak up so the man could hear him.
