Sari'sa sat at the water's edge, her legs submerged in the water, her waist getting drenched with every ebb and flow of a receding tide. On her lap was a smooth driftwood board, and upon that were her tarot cards. She enjoyed reading them at dawn, an auspicious time with Leth departing and brushing lightly against Syna's influence before relinquishing the day to her.
Her cards were pearlescent white with intricate blue patterns on the backs. She laid five face down and flipped them slowly, thoughtfully one by one from left to right as the light of day grew and grew. Her lavender eyes stopped on each cared, and though her demeanor was calm, by the time she flipped the fifth card her fingers trembled, and eery muscle in her body seemed to tense in preperation.
Another small wave came up under her board, drenching her light dress anew, but suddenly the Konti was up on her feet, cards sliding into a velvet bag her bare feet striding swiftly over the sand. She was on the mainland in a chime, approaching the central area of Mura in just a few more. Light eyes scannedth crowds of beautiful women. She had someone precise in mind, a fellow sister she did not yet know, but who held two very important objects...
