Keena's Cafe is a modest restaurant situated along one of Taloba's wide, heavily traveled paths just outside the bustling Trading Square. Built upon a stilt-like foundation to avoid most issues associated with flooding, the single story structure is one that's been constructed to last. The wooden floors have a tendency to appear newly polished and the tree trunk pillars pristine in shape. Beneath the carefully thatched roof are no walls. The cafe is actually entirely open aired, but when it rains, woven grass curtains unroll from the edges of the roof to protect patrons from the elements. Tables and chairs are available in areas of both shade and sunlight depending on the visitor's preference, and a full bar counter runs along the back end of the building. The business owner, Keena of the Crimson Stones, is a perfectionist at heart. Every surface is wiped clean the moment a patron departs, and no dish is served unless its presentation meets Keena's standards. Fruits, vegetables, and spices are all home-grown and fresh the day they're served. Meat that is not consumed soon after the animal is butchered or fished out, is well preserved and stored until it's no longer deemed acceptable to serve. Though the restaurant's kitchen is only open for breakfast and lunch, the bar is tended until twilight. Alcohol is not the house specialty but it's well known Keena's Cafe boasts importing very fine wine straight from Riverfall. The staff itself is well mannered and courteous, following the house motto that "all that enter under our roof become kin." It's actually very common for the cafe owner herself to make her rounds to each customer, making each experience personal and more welcoming. That being said, may all beware. No outsiders are permitted, and any insult to the restaurant or its employees is taken as a great offense. When he returned home to Taloba, his clan threw him out until he had straightened his life out. Rhogar likes to say he fell right into Keena's arms then, as she saw something in him no one in his clan seemed to. Now Rhogar's cooking skills are famous around Taloba, earning him back his clan name and status and keeping him happy and content in the city he loves.   Zeke Name: Zeke Race: Myrian/Isur DoB: 497 AV PoB: Taloba Title: Waiter Skills: Socialization - 31, Persuasion - 60, Brawling - 55, Hosting 45 Gnosis: 1 Myri Other: Though without a clan to call his own, Zeke has fit well into a Myrian lifestyle. Proving himself in the military he earned a prowess mark from Myri, which has given him standing equal to any other adult Myrian.
