Lysaea slung her backpack over her shoulders with her hunting equipment inside and collected the unfamiliar smallspear standing next to the door. It was the spare one she bought sometime ago and seeing as her old one got smashed into pieces the other day, it wasn't like she could use it. At least this gave her a chance to get used to it. The Vantha was wearing her usual outfit that day. Black vest, cream blouse, breeches and boots. Nothing all that special. She could probably whack a tree or two to get the feel of it. The woman smiled faintly as the image formed in her mind amused her.
She walked to her door and creaked it open as silently as possible. She didn't want to wake anyone up that early in the morning. It was habitual for her to rise early. It made it easier to hunt game after all. The only downside to it was that if anyone heard her accidentally, they would probably get a little angry. She shut the door as quietly as she had opened it and began silently walking down the hall, her feet barely brushing the ground.
She walked past the kitchen and hesitated. She made a split decision before going inside. There was no one there but there were bits and pieces of food lying around that she could easily grab and store for later when she was hungry. By the time she emerged, she had three bread rolls in her backpack, water in her skin and some pieces of fruit also in her backpack. She was all set for her trip.
Lysa then proceeded to make her way up to the above ground level of the Sanctuary. The shadows were still creeping behind buildings and the sun's rays had only begun to filter through. It always amazed her to be up at such a beautiful time of day when the sun started to rise. She exited through the Santuary's main gates. Now where should she go and hunt today?
