Anna’s brows knitted ever so as the Zith answered, not pleased at being denied knowing the name of this creature. What did she mean only other Zith could know? Was Anna not worthy enough then to know the name while other members of her monstrous race here? The idea was enough to incense the tall woman, anger and indignation growing in her mind. Bat seemed a fitting enough name the sorceress supposed, uncreative really but then again Anna probably would have just kept calling her Zith since there were not many other Zith likely on Sahova to answer the title. Still, she was rather irritated at being denied a straight answer.
“Why is it that you can only tell other Zith? Is your Mistress unworthy of knowing your true name, is she lacking a favorable trait? You will have to enlighten me on this matter, Zith, I’m certain your idea of what I can and cannot know is fascinating.” Anna questioned, crossing her arms under her breasts.
The sorceress held the position for a moment longer, next pondering over the Zith’s next question. It was a rather good one all told; honestly Anna was rather in the mood to lounge around on her bed for a bit before continuing her work. The tall dark haired woman nodded towards the place the two Test Subjects had entered, the holding cells. She was not fond of the idea of keeping a Zith in her own room, where she slept with her neck unguarded. The cells were there for a reason after all so why not use them?
“The last cell nearest to the entrance in there is yours; I’ll unlock it each day so you can do your duties easily enough. You are NOT to touch ANYTHING you see on that central table with the rings of symbols around it, ever. If I catch you near it I’ll punish you so severely what you did to that woman will seem a mercy by comparison.” The sorceress said, staring hard at the Zith to get the seriousness of her statement across.
“Other than you I possess one other slave, Alva Marek, she is human and about your height. She possesses duties similar to yours, though her other duties require her to stay in my quarters through that door over there. I’ll summon you in there if I need you, until then consider it as off limits as the central table.” Anna said.
With that Anna walked over to the entrance to the holding cells, opening the thick metal door with relative ease and gesturing for the Zith to enter. It was clear just looking into the place that it was very dimly lit, the light allowing for just enough visibility to find one’s way. Echoing out from the cells was the sound of the sobbing of the woman Bat had beaten, which Anna put out of her mind and simply gave it a mental shrug. They both would be dead soon enough before long most likely.
“I am going to rest for a little bit and I suspect the journey has been a bit tiring for you, you can spend the rest of the day and night in your cell. Tomorrow, you can get started on your work once I come and get you.” Anna said.
OOCAlright, I think your next post should finish it up!
