This forum is an OOC forum for PCS and Organizations to work out plans in hardcopy. Each PC or Organization gets a single thread where their players can help work out plans for their PC. Quests, mini-sagas, and Trips can all be organized here as well working out timelines and points of travel and things PCs need to do along the way. Each PC however gets only one Plotnote for their individual PC. Groups get one as well. There is no limit on individuals posting saga or trip plotnote threads. Please denote [PC Plotnotes] or [Group Plotnotes] or [Quest/Trip/Saga Plotnotes] when titling your threads.
Rey is an endlessly curious snake, forever poking his scaly nose into things that sometimes, other people would rather stay hidden. He has an almost compulsive need to know everything, from the mysterious to the mundane, to the point where being confused leaves a bad taste in his mouth. He always relentlessly pursues every question that crosses his mind, save for the most extreme circumstances. Currently the main focus of Rey's obsession is secrets and plots and machinations, due to a traumatic incident in his childhood.
Sociopathic
Reysin is a Dhani, first and foremost. Everyone is potentially food or entertainment to him, save for those who feels are "his kind". "His kind" include other Dhani, interesting Eypharians, those who worship the deities he does (some of them, anyways), and generally people who he likes. Those who Rey doesn't like, or identify with, are simply walking, talking fleshbags, as far as he is concerned.
Friendly
Despite his lack of empathy towards most people, Rey is quite sociable, and enjoys getting to know people. He often makes "friends" with people he would have no qualms about eating later.

His Gods
Akajia
If Rey was the type to believe in fate, he would believe it was that which brought Akajia to his attention. He has admired her since he first learned of her, and prays to her more often now that he’s left the nest. As he has spent more time away from other Dhani, she has become his primary deity, though he will not admit it to himself.
Eyris
Rey is not aware yet that Eyris exists. When he does, she will join Akajia as one of his primary deities.
Siku
His racial deity, he has yet to earn her favor enough to earn her mark. He worships her loyally, eagerly killing and torturing in her name. As
Caiyha
Rey does not worship Caiyha, but he does hold a deep reverence for her and her sphere of influence. He does his best to live in tune with nature, without excessive killing of prey. Animal prey, that is. Sentient beings are fair game.
Ionu
In his time in Alvadas, Rey has grown to admire the city of illusions, and the god who watches over it. Ionu is certainly a god/dess worth courting.

Rey never minds being alone, but given the choice, he would much prefer being around others. Rey loves to talk to and be friendly with people, even those who he would cheerfully turn on (ie most humans).
Sensing
With senses far more acute than those of virtually all humans, Rey is very grounded in the physical world. Though not unintelligent, in his mind, philosophy and abstract thinking is secondary to the concrete input of his senses, both physical and magical
Thinking
For the most part, Rey prefers to make his decisions logically. At the end of the day, practicality is king. Whether he takes a job or not, pursues his prey, eats a person, all depend on a mental balancing of pros and cons. His obsessiveness sometimes skews his mental balancing one way or another, but it's the process that counts.
Perceiving
Rey is very much an improviser at heart. Rey always make plans before he starts anything, but he alters them on the fly, and has no qualms about completely tossing them out the window if it seems necessary.
Rey is, at his core, primarily concerned with the wellbeing of himself and those who he considers to be his. His moral compass is very much aimed at his friends, and he will do anything for their safety and comfort. And his own, of course. This extends to the deities he worships, where he will do anything they ask of him, however immoral or illegal.
For things that do not directly affect him or his friends and loved ones, Rey adopts a more community oriented approach. Rey's main community is the Eyktol nest where he was born and raised, and the dhani race in general, of course, but more recently, he has also adopted Alvadas as a nest away from the nest. He might not care overly much for the individual people within these communities, but by the gods he will fight for them against outsiders.
The heirarchy of needs doesn't exactly apply to Rey. Just under his most vital needs, above even his own safety and security, is his craving for understanding. He is a collector, of knowledge in general, but especially of secrets. He likes to know things, partly because one never knows what knowledge might come in handy in the future, but mostly for the sheer joy of knowing. Additionally, Rey knows what he knows, and what he can do, and makes plans with his own strengths and limitations in mind.
Still, Rey is nothing if not adaptable. One of his guiding philosophies is, essentially, "no plan survives first contact with the enemy." He reacts quickly to the unexpected, and is more than happy to change his plans on the fly. And just as importantly, he is perfectly willing to change himself to fit the situation. Whatever he needs to get the job done.
It can be difficult, sometimes, to tell apart the model and the real house, especially when Rey mixes elements of both into his everyday life. When backed into a corner, though, Rey's instinct would be to use the knowledge he's gathered and the skills he's honed to get him out of the situation, rather than bluff and manipulate his way free.

Rey’s auristical senses turned out to be rather different than normal. As a dhani, Rey is accustomed to “seeing” more through smell, taste and hearing than vision, and so that was mostly how his auristical ability manifested
He can see the shape and sizes of auras, similar to the heat vision he has in his serpentine forms. However, he can see no information about the aura, only that it is there.
Smell is how he identifies the physical properties of things, and, once he is powerful enough, the past of whatever he's focusing on.
Taste is how he determines emotions, through the flavor and intensity.
His hearing tells him about activity. Walking into a place with strong magical activity causes a slight humming in his ears, and a change in attention of the person he is focusing on causes a sound to move from the previous focus of their attention to the new. Hearing is also how he can tell which taste/smell is connected to which aura.
Gestures/Incantations: Currently, Rey's activation action (though he doesn't think of it that way) is taking in a deep breath, then opening up his sense as he exhales. In the past, he also had to close his eyes, though he is now able to do it without that.
Reimancy The first element Rey will unlock will be water, followed by fire, then air, then finally earth. His res will be a translucent blue, a similar color to his eyes.
Shielding He will extrude djed through his incisors, in the same way that he would expel venom through his fangs.
Others
Languages :
Rey’s native language is Snake, naturally. He can speak it perfectly, knows all the slang, subtlety, etc. He knows everything a viper would know, but there might be some difference between subraces. In his human form, he can speak it, but with a very thick accent. There is no written form.
Common, Rey can speak and understand decently, and can read and write, with quite a lot of effort. He speaks with an accent that suggests that he is suppressing a different accent. When he's nervous, he speaks with a slight hiss. He knows quite a few swears, and can be very creative with making new ones, often mixing language. He tends to stick to the simplest words that will get his message across.
Rey can understand a little Arumenic, doesn't speak it at all, but can read with a lot of difficulty.
Senses :
As a human, his sense of taste is amplified, which is not very helpful to him. He has to rely on his sense of sight, which is unusual for him, so he often has to remind himself that his other senses are dulled.
As a dhani or snake, he tends to rely on his heat vision to avoid crashing into anything, uses his smell to detect prey and predators, and hearing to make sure no one is sneaking up on him. He relies more of taste and smell than sight/
Forms :
Rey is most comfortable in his dhani form, as it has the advantages of both his other forms: A strong tail, fangs, and opposable thumbs. He tends to keep this form when traveling and fighting.
As a snake, Rey is less noticeable, and blends in with nature. (to a certain extent. He blends in better with the desert than a rainforest.) When out in the wilds, he uses this form to scout and hunt.
Rey’s human form is the one he uses most often most recently. He can blend in with people fairly well, height aside, anyways. He keeps to this form in cities, and when he needs to interact with humans.
