When Ricky had managed to go with the counteract he'd plan he expected some form of what he could've thought as a counter measure, an oppressive maneuver taken into action as Kreig managed to grasp at Ricky's own wrist once more to pull him in for yet another blow. Dis again?! He thought to himself as he felt his weight shift forward onto his left foot, he expected the same sort of attack as before as Kreig managed to slip his free hand into yet another form of a punch that would've no doubt been devestating to feel. Granted that Ricky has had enough pain to deal with in one go, the last thing he wanted to feel was another forced impact to the face from underneath the chin. So while he managed to see that this attack was incoming swiftly, he shifted all his weight back to the right leg which was behind him with the instinct to flinch.
While his initial thought was to react with a means of counteraction, his mind had already been overwhelmed with the obligation for a better route, and that involved the best way to defending against this incoming blow. While Kreig had managed to pull Ricky forward all the weight of the fisherman, that weight had been shifted all onto one leg which was in front of him. The leg behind him however just waited to receive the change in the weight, as Ricky used it and to create the best opportunity he had possible in order to put his final attack at a stop. Since Kreig had shifted all his own weight into one attack that could or could not very well be shifted, the chance to throw the squire off only existed by the means of doing the one thing that Ricky had managed to do earlier while they still tested one another. Of course when he did hurl Kreig at that moment, that was only brief intention to test him. This time of course, there was no means of a test, Kreig was in fact going to be launched in the hardest throw Ricky could pull.
While Kreig's uppercut headed Ricky's way the fisherman shifted all the weight from his left leg all into his right, forcing a harsh pull with all his might as he would pull Kreig into this shift in the process. That and the momentum of Kreig's punch combined would lead to Ricky twisting his body to alternate his shoulder to where Kreig was. At best he would feel the uppercut land on the shoulder which in turn hurt of course due to the impact, but the redirection of it had been enough to where the momentum continued further and allowed the bigger man to hopefully finish the damned reaction that crossed his mind. The only reaction he thought possible to do at that moment, which although didn't seem to be the best he had but still the only option, was send Kreig into the hardest hurl he could possibly manage. While there was still a chance that Kreig could escape this bad alternative by doing what he could to pull his own weight back, likely resulting in a sudden but no doubt short tug-o-war, and in turn attempt to retreat once more to plan another means of getting through to Ricky than the uppercut.
However.... if his timing hadn't been so successful or he'd been caught off guard well enough, he would find himself being catapulted over Ricky's shoulder and launched through the air. As Ricky himself would go to the greatest extent to throw all of Kreig's weight just to avoid another incoming attack to the face. Should this have happened Ricky wouldn't have initially watched Kreig as he gained a bit of air time, but rather dunk his face into his arms defensively as his eyes shut tightly in the defensive manner he took.
