"“Redd… that’s an interesting name.” It was words that had made her stay where she was and her gaze flickered down to view the male as he was seated on the edge of the docks. Slowly, she would move to seat herself down upon its edge as well, her hazel hues viewing the water for a moment before she touched the water with her bare feet. It feels, funny in a way, she thought to herself as she listened to the strange male talk. So his name was Hayl? It kind of sounded the same as someone else she knew, although it started with a... She thought about it for a moment before giving up, she was still too new to reading and after this encounter, she would probably spend more time at her master's desk going over the letters that he had written out for her. It was odd as they sat in silence, it wasn't really uncomfortable for she felt that they might as well share this spot here, but it was something that she had yet to experience with someone. Her master was just too busy to spend time with her and even when he did spend time with her, it was for to do things like hunt, but not kill.
The young wolf splashed her feet against the water a couple of times, she figured that if the water beast hadn't eaten her yet, then she might as well enjoy splashing her feet in the water. It was a different sensation upon her feet rather than the same old cobble stone and wood, she missed the feel of fertile earth underneath her feet, well, her paws. A smile had curved her lips when the male had mentioned crazy, she probably would have gone crazy by now, had it not been for her master keeping her in check all of the time. She wanted to taste blood, mostly just the blood of her kills, but for now, she would have to settle a very unsatisfying meal of Ravokian food. "I like to think that we are all a little some-what crazy." She said softly as her gaze flickered to Hayl. He was different, he wasn't like her master, this man was most definitely, lighter, perhaps.
His word turned to her being a kelvic and her shoulders slumped as her gaze turned back to the water that lapped over her feet. “If I was lonely… and I’m not saying that I am, but if I was I would be able to tell that something was up with you. Are you typically this stoic or is something troubling you?” Was something troubling her? She was stoic? He was a pretty good observer, especially to have picked up the fact that she was kelvic from only saying the one word. "Master Elias requires me to do things without complaint, to accept things as they are." She said softly as her right hand reached up to gently tug the red scarf away from her neck, revealing the leather collar underneath. She didn't think that there was any need to hide it anymore seeing as the male knew that she was a kelvic and she clasped the material within her hands as she took a deep breath and slowly let it out. "He wants me to be a better kelvic... So he has me learning how to read and write, but it's rather boring. I'm more used to things that require having to move around a lot. Physical activities like running."
Her shoulders rose and fell in a shrug as a sigh settled upon her lips. Hayl had said something about not being lonely, but he had also said something about if he was, he would be able to tell that something was troubling her. So did that mean that he was lonely? She lifted her gaze to view the male beside her as the rising sun outlined his form. If he knew she was kelvic, then why would he bothered about asking if something was troubling her? Was this some kind of human plot? If it was, then why would he indirectly say that he was lonely? Her pale fingers gently toyed with the scarf between her fingers and her gaze shifted to view the material. Redd reverted back to when he had said that her name was interesting, she didn't see how though, for she basically named herself. If she had a name that her mother knew her by, then she did not know it. "Hayl is an interesting name too," She said softly. She didn't want to be considered rude up top of whatever stoic meant, so she had returned his compliment.
