"The kind find it hard to write rude words, the opposite is also true, the rude find it hard to write kind words. Once you understand which you are, make the decision of who you WANT to be."

Intervention

Hello. Unfortunately there is a very large problem with this thread. Both players have made numerous accounts of major and rather blatant God-Modding. In this instance both Aerion and Amara have played far above their skill level and have done things that even Master level swordsmen and martial artists would have trouble pulling off. I am going to break down the big red flags that I encountered in reading this thread.

Aerion:
-You have 10 points in Weapon: Longsword. In the first set of instances of god modding featuring a pack of wolves you had Aerion behead and kill a wolf in a single post. A single line no less. This is something not even a master could pull off.

-Again, in the next scene when the rest of the wolves came back you manage to kill all three in a single post. Wolves in mizahar are not some throw away creature like some video game, they are based on the fierce and intelligent predator that could easily coordinate a strike and decimate the three of you. Killing this pack would have taken more than a sword and more manpower. You even have Aerion go on to say "It'll take more than a few wolves to kill me." and "..., if I had trained harder with my weapon, I may have been able to kill them without suffering injuries like this." The thing is, the two of you working together might have fended off a wolf and manage to escape, even at a novice level. But no matter what level your characters are, you could not have killed all those wolves so easily. Since the two of you had been novices, you probably would have both died and been devoured.

- Similarly, your character only has 5 points in Hunting or Tracking, 10 in wilderness survival and no lores associated for any of those skills. How you managed all these feats in tracking down the improbable sleeping doe and fawn and explain all these intricate details of how to track and hunt to your companion when your character is a major novice yourself is beyond me. Let alone find the deer asleep.

-Then come not one group of slavers, but two! Both of whom you managed to wipe out, almost single handedly by your character. You do realize that people who live out with the wolves, bears, cougars and other bandits probably have higher skill in combat then a novice, right? And you managed to kill them and impersonate them without them even noticing despite not having any skill points in Stealth, Acting, Impersonation, Disguise or even Persuasion. Let alone my issues with your 10 points in Weapon: Longsword.

Amara:

-How were you able to sneak up on woodland animals with only 5 points of stealth? Prey animals have very fine tuned senses and can track any sort of sound... rustling of plants or talking and will wake up from sleep. This is how prey animals did not go extinct to predator animals like wolves.

-You only have 5 points in Unarmed combat. How did you manage the feat of precisely hitting pressure points on the shoulder to disable the NPC's arm? How does your character even know about pressure points? You have no such lores for it at this time.

You both are fairly new to this game and you both got a bit overzealous. Mistakes are made and I totally get that. But this was very blatant. Play to your skill level. I do not want to have to intervene on any more threads written by either of you.

Penalties:
-Due to the amount of issues found in this thread this thread has been Nullified. The events in this thread hereby have never happened. If you would like to try and rewrite the thread from scratch please create a new thread.
-Additionally all skill points and lore awarded must be removed from your Character Sheets.

Archailist: Sorry about having to revoke the time you spent grading this thread. The problems were too big. :(
