Feathers and Wit(Tasha)

While Sylira is by far the most civilized region of Mizahar, countless surprises and encounters await the traveler in its rural wilderness. Called the Wildlands, Syliran's wilderness is comprised of gradual rolling hills in the south that become deep wilderness in the north. Ruins abound throughout the wildlands, and only the well-marked roads are safe.

45th of Fall, 510 A.V.

Jaeden’s boots lightly clicked along the stone surface of the path within Everstone Forest, such grounds didn’t make for good places for setting up a tent, but there were still places where shallow earth could be found. In the end, it was a fascinating place to be, Jaeden had been through the area on more than one occasion, both in his own travels and his training with Olevar during his youth. A quick sigh was released as his mind became nostalgic of those times, but such thoughts were soon pushed aside as he turned his head, looking to Tasha who walked next to him, gazing around the area for a moment to familiarize herself. Red gave a quick couple of yelps, calling attention to a good sight for setting up camp. “Well done Red,” Jaeden called out heading in that direction before looking to Tasha. “A tour will take a bit of time, enough that I won’t be able to make it out of Everstone before nightfall, so I’m going to set up camp to spend the night here.”

Jaeden began making his way over towards the clearing as Red run up to him, hopping upwards as her front paws pressed against his legs in excitement, her tail wagging slightly. Jaeden slowly reached down, giving a quick pat of the hand and nice scratch of her ears. He then reached over his shoulders, pulling out a short, white dress, holding it out. “Stretch your legs a bit, Red.” Jaeden then suggested.

Red gave another quick bark, high pitch and almost sounding like a quick scream in some ways. She ran a couple paces ahead, pausing for a moment as she shook her entire body as if flinging off drops of water from her fur. Then a quick flash of golden light shimmered in front of their eyes, the light growing larger and longer, taking an upright position. It then faded just as quickly as a slender female with strait brown hair and smooth white skin. Her naked frame showed a well fit tone, but more to the point around her abdomen and torso, than her arms and legs. She walked towards the two of them, unashamed of being naked in front of them, and smiling when she caught Jaeden looking over her body as he held out her dress at the same time. “I’ll just go find some kindling for the campfire while you set up camp.” Red offered, grasping her dress lightly as she began to slip it on over her frame.

“Thank you Red,” Jaeden said, giving a nod. “Keep your nose sharp though, as you usually do. Don’t want you getting surprised by some twit out there.”

Red gave a nod as she began to disappear behind a nearby rock, moving towards an are where normal trees could be seen in the distance. Jaeden stepped into the small clearing, kicking his foot into the soft earth as he gazed over the impacts it made. He slowly looked up then, taking a glance around before a long, high pitched whistle was given. It wouldn’t be long before the subtle grunts and exhales were heard from the west, and heavy clacks of hooves landing along the stone ground as a large, black Nightwalker approached. The horse gave a quick bob of his head as he approached Jaeden, before finally lowering it as Jaeden’s hand slipped along the horse’s brow, giving him a light rub. “Find any apples Fortunado?” Jaeden said with an amused smirk on his face, the Nightwalker shaking it’s head in reply. “Well, I told you there wouldn’t be hardly any apple trees in this area.”

Jaeden then stepped up to the middle of the clearing, unbuckling a strap that ran across his waist. The straps to his pack were then pulled free of his shoulder as it landed to the ground with a heavy thud, suggesting it bore a more than average amount of weight. “Well then,” Jaeden said as he looked to Tasha, giving a soft smile, “give me about a half bell to set up camp and we’ll begin the tour. At least of the areas I know of in Everstone.”

She took a glace around, let the small rustle of the wind to only be heard;the entire attention was caught in the sights of the Everstone forest.A smile formed from her lips, gazing at the scenario, with her hands at her back stretching a bit and yawned.
I think might be quite interesting after all.Maybe in the end I will find out some things about these parts, this guy seems as he knows plenty.Well,at least he has a nice relationship with his fox-kelvic.That's good.I like seeing people happy..as for me..- her thoughts were slightly interrupted by Jaeden's voice.Tasha nodded her head to him, turned to face his direction as he spoke about camping soon.

"Hm..it's alright. At least for now,I can still enjoy the nice view before my eyes." replied to him, calmly and puts some of her hair behind her ear, looking at him.She then quickly turned, seeing his fox,red getting into her female form and had no shame into showing her naked body before him.She just grabbed the dress and begun to walk from there, searching for some wood to get the fire started.

She indeed has no restriction,at least around him..They really must get along very well..I -nmm could never be naked in front of anybody. At least for now,I had enough bad memories with that with my previous master, forcing me to undress before him, countless times..This is the only thing I fear for now.. gave a thought and let out a small sigh, she stepped a bit closer to him and supported her back by the tree. Her green eyes, stopped as a horse got there and Jaeden was speaking with him, talking something about apples and that they will start soon the tour,in the area which he knew,of course.

"Your horse is nice. You got plenty friends I see,the Fox-Kelvic girl, which Pardon me.." paused a bit and sighs deeply."has no shame into showing off her body around..I uh..nm..Not my business anyways.." said getting pink in her cheeks and looked away for a second.
In another moment, tried not to act to foolish nor reserved in making him think she was a "good for nothing" or something around there, walked from the tree and let her eyes to gaze at the Horse, then looked at Jaeden once again.

"Can..I unm..pat Him?Furtunado his name, right?Cool name!"with a wider smile, still feeling a bit anxious and nervous, since the horse was bigger than her in size.At least in her human form, could should not to much restriction and to act more deliberately.Even though, that was a hard task for her.She wanted the same affection, which those closer to Jaeden were receiving, but it was to much to ask.She couldn't be careless.Tasha saw the warmth and comfort in Jaeden, which she was seeking for..but couldn't ask him. They barely met.It would be to much.It got her into an absent minded stage for a moment, with her eyes lost looking at the Forest.

Jaeden began yanking out various pieces from his backpack and laying them out along the ground. He gave a smile and soft chuckle as Tasha mentioned Red’s uninhibited behavior. “Well, she was raised in captivity, bound by slavers who used her sport games with other hunters.” Jaeden explained before moving over to Fortunado, pulling some long poles free that rested along the Nightwalker’s back. “She never even wore clothing before then I suspect. She likely wouldn’t either if she had her way. She says she feels a little less restricted when she’s naked.”

“Yeah, of course you can. Just don’t stand behind him.” Jaeden answered to Tasha’s question as he unrolled out a large bundle of hemp fabric. “Makes him nervous and he tends to kick then.”

Jaeden then grasped his woodman’s axe and several spikes in his hands as he began to circle around the laid out tent. A subtle exhale came with each swing of the axe, as the broad back end of the axe head struck the spike, hammering it into the ground. “So, where do you plan on going after Everstone, Tasha?” Jaeden inquired, keeping up casual conversation as he continued to work.

Jaeden then slowly began sliding the poles through sleeves of the tent itself, gazing up at her from time to time as it was slowly erected, standing up tall and wide as the fabric was stretched taught and firm. Finally, as the tent stood tall, the front flaps opening within, Tasha could see that it was large enough to fit at least four individuals comfortably within. A subtle toss found Jaeden’s bedroll, blanket and pillows within. Jaeden then slowly stood up, giving a slow exhale as he wiped his brow. Picking up both his woodman’s axe and spade, he took a couple of steps towards the center of camp before dropping his spade to the ground next to him. As a couple of exhaled grunts escaped his lips, the blade of the axe then tore into the ground, breaking it up. He then grasped his spade, digging the loosened dirt and pushing it aside as he began to form the fire pit of the camp itself.

well,I think that could explain why she isn't ashamed showing off like that.Geez, only thinking of getting undressed, turned to a form to the other one,in front of someone..gives me chills.. gave a though, shaking her head and put a smile on her face to Jaeden.
His reply made her smile wider, slowly getting to the left side of his horse, with trembling fingers reach fro his side, near the long hair. She,with slow movements, brushed his hair and patted softly his skin.

"Ok,got it.Not behind him..Hm,also he has nice skin.So dark, yet softer. As my hair, hehe." said Tasha chuckling and continued to pat him,for a short while she felt good.It was good so far. Then, her face turned to Jaeden,as he set up the tent and asked about what she intended to do after visiting the Everstone forest.

"Well,I am not sure..because,you see" paused a little taking a deep breath and lowered herself to take a leaf in her hand."I don't make plans.I..nm- go with the flow.Exploring, observation, looking forward to meet people or like me,in search of knowledge and..some Good stories.Maybe someday get a bond with someone..just that I still am afraid." replied to him with a sign and blow away the leaf, seeing it flying in mid air,and smiled faintly.

She still, didn't understood quite yet the concept of the tent and people sleeping in that tight place;even if it would fit more people, she didn't looked forward to it.A small twitch was heard from her, rising one of her eyebrows by looking at the tent, then back at Jaeden.

"I don't know..if -if..I.nm..will -there..doesn't nmnm!!" mumbled a few words, shaking her head and then went quick behind a tree, all scared."I..it's to small space.Reminds me of the..cage,bars..darkness.I..uh I will sleep outside. In a tree. It's better."continued her words with a shaking voice, feeling nervous all of the sudden. She tried to calm her breath, looking away from that direction and set her eyes on some weird shaped rocks and some far away Tall trees, with big branches.Slow, but certain got into a state of absent-minded person, remembering the bad times with her previous Master; she lowered down the tree, putting her hands at her head, getting her face to the ground,as protecting herself from something.

why did I had to remember that? It's scary..tight,small places.what did I do to deserve such treatment?I don't wanna get back to those times..I don't want to.No matter what..!! seemed as if she fought with her inner thoughts.
"I don't wanna go there.I certainly, don't wanna go inside. It's scary.." said over and over again, hearing only the rustle of the wind and some crickets around there.

Jaeden slowly looked up as he gave a nod to Tasha while she spoke. Standing up he pull a rag from one of his pockets. “Well, not too bad of an idea to get a little exploration, a little life experience.” Jaeden said as he began to wipe the spade and axe clean of dirt before looking up to Tasha. “Just keep an eye out for the dangers though.”

Jaeden then moved over to Fortunado as he began to strip the horse of the gear and saddle that still burdened the Nightwalker’s back. It was then he heard the hesitant tone as Tasha’s voice cracked, a sense of fear in her voice. Jaeden peeked around Fortunado, looking towards Tasha for a moment, a look of curious concern on his face. He slowly began stepping towards Tasha, his feet stepping along the ground lightly as she buried her head into her hands. He paused, standing in front of her, silent for a moment as she kept repeating about not wanting to sleep in the tent.

Jaeden gave a slow exhale as he began to crouch down, looking over his shaken form. He shook his head slowly, as he gradually extended his hand out towards Tasha. Eventually, she would feel the palm of Jaeden’s hand, despite how strong he appeared to be, rest gently along her shoulder. “Tasha?” Jaeden called out, softly and calmly, giving Tasha a slight nudge to gain her attention. If she finally looked up, he gave a sympathetic smile to her, warm and accommodating. “You don’t have to sleep in the tent.”

“Tasha, I don’t know what kind of petch your bondmate was, but rest assured,” Jaeden said as he slowly began to stand, “you don’t have to do anything you don’t feel comfortable doing around me.”

She tried to calm herself the best she could, her breath quicken as a faint voice she heard, from the deepest part of her mind.It wasn't sure what she was supposed to say, just winced at his touch over her shoulder.Slowly,Tasha lifted her deep, emerald eyes looking at Jaeden deeply..as felt his eyes were piercing her soul, and nodded her head at his words.

"I..nmm..I am scareed!" said Tasha, just quickly embraced him tightly, knocking him down the ground, with her body pressed over his, head and hands at his chest, squeezing tight and with a heavy breath. Her legs were right between his, trying to make herself small.

"I am soo-oorry..hmm I just don't like tight, small places.." mumbles with her face sunk at his clothing, and eyes shut. She was afraid, and in him seek to find the comfort and safety, which she desperately tried to climb onto.
I don't know..what's going on with me,but for sure..this isn't the best situation ever.!He must think I am crazy, for sure..man! I hate myself.. thought for a moment, trying to regain her original position, stopped sobbing and looked over to him

"You..must think I am..insane..Sorry." apologized herself and tried to stand up,with legs all shaking badly and still not god balance. That was the most embarrassing experience and situation, since she met him.Thing sincerely can't get any worse from that, now can they?

Jaeden gave a slow nod, giving her shoulder a light squeeze of reassurance. “It’s all right,” Jaeden said giving her another small nudge.

Jaeden was about to say something further, some sort of encouraging speech, some sage words of wisdom masked in a cleaver quip. Such words were stopped before they could be uttered, however, as Tasha suddenly leapt into him, forcing his delicate balance in the crouched position to falter as he fell to his back. Her fingers curled under the edges of his leather armor, gripping the fabric of his cotton tunic beneath as her head buried into his chest. He eventually felt the hairs on the back of his neck slightly stand on end with that feeling of pleasured comfort when he felt her legs slinking in between his own, the warm friction a welcoming feeling that he generally enjoyed.

It would normally be around this time that Jaeden would make a move if he had been working in the Soothing Waters. A subtle hand rested along the sensitive area of a woman’s body, a light brush of his lips along their cheek, lips or ears. A compliment or phrase, laced with softness and longing. Such was not the time for that right now. Some may very well have thought it was the perfect time. The perfect situation, a woman in an emotionally vulnerable state, cradling in your arms and looking for comfort, for protection from whatever made her feel down. There was a subtle difference for Jaeden, however. He may have done such in the Bathhouse, but the women who came to see him there were there for that purpose in the long run, to be held, to be comforted and to ultimately be pleasured by Jaeden.

Tasha was feeling vulnerable, she was feeling the need to be comforted and sheltered, reactions which Jaeden didn’t need Ranuri to discern, especially now that Ranuri was attached to the desires of someone else. In the end though, Tasha ultimately didn’t come to Jaeden to be pleasured. As such, his hand simply fell to the back of her head, resting lightly there as he let her vent whatever emotion she felt like letting out.

Eventually, as she peeled herself away from Jaeden’s chest and sat there along the ground, wiping tears away from her face, she apologized and expressed what Jaeden’s thought likely would have been given the situation. “No, not at all.” Jaeden eventually said, slowly standing and offering Tasha a warm smile and hand to help her up. “Everyone has something in their past that weighs them down sometime in their lives.”

Tasha tried as hard as she could to calm herself down, the situation couldn't get any worse nor more embarrassing than already turned to be.In such moments, seeking for comfort, kind gestures when just then felt so defenseless indeed you must fight to keep your calm and would be good to no show your weakness. She appreciated his kindness in his words, maybe more than he could imagine, still feeling a bit overwhelmed by all that and wasn't to sure how to exactly react to such things nor people around her, when the trust was so hard to gain, not to mention the most important from them all.

She smiled compassionate at Jaeden's gesture of putting his hand a her head, just holding her there for a while and sighed in relief;again his calmly voice and kindness from it,made her to smile wider at him and she reached for his hand.Tasha touched slightly the palm of his hand,in a gentle and trembling manner, standing up after looking at him.She had some leaves over her skirt and her stripped socks, held for a moment his hand;still a moment of shame crossed her body and soon let go of his hand looking a bit away.

"Yeah..I suppose you are right there. The past is one thing I for sure am not very proud." replied to him and patted her clothes for a bit, letting the breeze to swing her hair around and the clothing. She used her hands as a shield more to hold still her waving skirt, putting the hands together in the front part and also the long braids from her back were waving in the same direction.

"damn wind ! ahh..I want to t-thank you for your kindness that you have shown to me.I really appreciate it." said to him with a warm smile, and gaze with her emerald eyes over him.She slow, turned her face towards the forest and then to the sky feeling lest stressed and another smile formed from her nice, soft lips.
I don't know exactly what to do nor how to react at this stuff,I guess is has been a little to much captive and tamed, held in that cage and had not to many rights, even for a Kelvic like me.I need to keep my confidence up,but is still hard at this rate..gaining the trust is very hard.At least for me. as she seemed in deep thoughts, rubbed her hands blowing warm air towards them, getting a bit chilly.

"It's getting rather dark.I will go to that tree over here, just for a short while,I wanna see the view from up there.Promise I won't be to long.." spoke to Jaeden brushing her hair from her face and went walking from there,to another tree. She took off the socks and the shoes, then thought of getting help from him,but wasn't actually sure, didn't knew if she will be that comfortable around him.
Tasha, slide her finger to take of her skirt, reaching at her back to untie the braids, indeed they were plenty and took her a while.

"Come on already..why in the world did I took this blouse from them all..?" complained to herself and let the clothes to rest down near the tree there.A small shiny light,he could see with some white and golden sparkles around, turning soon in the Kelvic form.A Black Hawk flapped her wings, getting higher to the tree feeling the nice breeze under her wings. She reached more higher and sat on a branch;just for a little time, wanted to watch the outside world from up there, she felt more free..still not that secure. Her eyes stared at the sight before her.The insecurity will soon be gone.

Jaeden, gave a slow nod, letting his hands fall to his waist as Tasha conveyed a certain sense of reserve over her past, brushing the debris left from the fall off her dress. “Learn from the past, but don’t let it dictate your future Tasha.” Jaeden then simply said. “It did me for a time, and it was leading me no where good.”

Jaeden‘s eyes then widened just slightly as a gust wind blew suddenly, giving a quick peek of the undergarment she wore under her dress. It was one of Jaeden’s flaws, according to some, that his gaze immediately fell to spy such things when the opportunity presented itself. For the most part, it was like a reflex for Jaeden, catching those quick peeks, and his gaze quickly rose to meet Tasha’s eyes once again when her hands shot down, pressing the dress to her legs and keeping the goods hidden. He had wondered if she had caught him in the act, but as she cursed the wind and then thanked him for his kind words, he had assumed that she hadn’t. A quick clearing of his throat was given before he nodded to her once again. “No need to thank me really,” Jaeden replied, dragging the back of his hand across his mouth to wipe away a little drool that had managed to escape, “just tends to be my nature in the long run.”

Jaeden then looked to the tree as she pointed it out, giving a soft smile to her. “Alrighty, stretch your wings out for a bit. I’ve got a couple of things left to unpack anyhow.” Jaeden said, nudging his head over towards Fortunado.

As Tasha began to move along, Jaeden made his way back over towards Fortunado, peeking over his shoulder at Tasha once more before stepping beside the large Nightwalker, giving him a subtle pat along the side of his neck. One by one, Jaeden stripped Fortunado of the burdens that rested along his back, carrying them over towards the tent and setting them along the ground beside it. Finally, as the saddle was the last to be carried, Jaeden wiped his brow of a slight amount of sweat before carrying a bag of feed back over to Fortunado before filling and strapping a feed back that contained a mixture of oats, hay and sugar cubes over his head as the horse began to feed on the contents with contentment.

Jaeden then settled into a stand in front of his tent, his fingers fumbling over the buckles that kept his leather armor strapped on. A subtle sound of sticks rattling against each other then caught Jaeden’s attention as he turned his gaze towards the source, spotting Red coming back into camp, a smile on her face as she carried a bundle of kindling in one arm, and two rabbits swinging in her other hand. “Well, I see you had some good luck in your gathering. Dinner and the wood.” Jaeden said with a smile as he slipped off his leather armor, setting it to the ground.

“How are you going to cook them?” Red then asked curiously as she held them up.

“Well, they’re a little small, so I’m figuring a stew.” Jaeden replied as he pulled his tunic off, draping it over the top of his tent for the moment. “We’ve still got a couple of veggies left in preservation.”

Jaeden then grabbed his waterskin and a small rag, wetting the fabric as Red began stacking the wood into the fire pit and gathering things to prepare dinner. Jaeden just casually began wiping the days worth of sweat and grime from his upper body as a look of contemplation over what spices he would add to the stew appeared on his face.

Tasha just stood there over the branch from the tree, then went for a short ride up above the sky making some bird noise, there was the place which made her feel safe for a moment. The picture before her eyes, was soon more clearer.

After a short while, flapped her wings more and more reaching slowly back to the location where the clothes where located, turning soon in her human form with some sparkles around her body. She stretched her arms and legs, grabbed her clothing as it was getting rather dark in the area, and even so she disliked being to dark.
"ah..good they are there.I see that his other fox friend-girl returned.." sighed a little and stepped forward, still not getting dressed just wanted a bit more to get closer wanting to hear what were they discussing,a red blush appeared on her face making the cheeks to get red like an apple. And of course,as the bad luck fallowed her, tripped by a rock with her leg as in the fall she twisted her ankle causing her to slide down onto the leaves down, with a loud noise.

"Curses...to the nature!" said Tasha rather loudly, trying to stand up a bit to get her clothes on her, pulled fast the top over her upper part, trying to tie them as fast as she could as her leg begun to go numb.

"damn it..it hurts..! why did I had to tripped ..where was I thinking?" said to herself and still with the skirt and long socks, near her, trying to reach for her wounded ankle to rub it gently.
I really am stupid sometimes!.ahmnm..But as I peeked and in the short time,I saw Jaeden's well done body. What am I thinking?this sure feels weird..this attraction. thought to herself, shaking her head as she tried to get up but fall back down, loosing balance. Her eyes set upon the camp part,in the hopes that maybe they didn't hear her,she was half naked..and not to comfortable.
