Character Concept
Shadiss is not the well most like dhani amongst her own kind, in fact, ever since she had a blood-bath in her own brothers and sisters blood, she was most certainly treated differently. So, she can be manipulative when the situation calls for it. The young dhani, also lies and cheats to get what she wants, to her, fair is for the weak. No one would like to get on her bad side, for she can be very vindictive and tends to keep track of those that would rather make an enemy out of her, so she can poison them. Poison, she feels is the cleanest way that someone could get away with murder.
The woman loves pain, in fact, although it hurts like all hell, she loves it, for it takes her away from her present problems. With each cut of a knife, or with each punch delivered to her gut, sometimes she swears that her past within Zinrah is beginning to fade away into her unconscious. She wasn't trying to hide the fact that she bathed in the blood of her brothers and sisters. She had quite enjoyed the feeling as the blood stuck to her snake form and the way it fell and tasted upon her flickering tongue. She never knew why that hooded figure had come to killed her family, but she was thankful, for it had awoken a deep seated need for pain and death. Pain, she enjoys it both giving and receiving.
She is all too aware of the simple fact that she cannot breed with another race and so takes advantage of that, bedding men whenever she feels like it. She especially does so after pain has been inflicted, although, she mostly beds the one man, once and then goes on her way. Never does she take them back to her own room, it was one of the mental rules that she kept, for she did not want to have to commit to any of those society rules, which was partially why she chose Sunberth to put roots down within. Another one of those mental rules, was that she wouldn't develop any attachments to people. Why? Because the only person she can trust, is herself.

Appearance
Human
She is slender and her skin pale. Her grey hair, patterned with black, is cropped short so then the ends rest just underneath her ear lobes. Her eyes are much like her snake and dhani form, a crimson red. She stands at the height of 5'1.
Dhani
As a dhani, she is 10 feet long and is very slim, but is quick upon the strike with her long fangs. Her human counter parts, still bear the same black zig-zagging patterns, but is restricted to along the back of her form.
Snake
In her viper form, she is coloured a pure grey with a black pattern, zig-zagging down along her form and her eyes are a deep crimson. She is about 6 feet long from the head to the tip of her tail. When she hunts as a snake, she prefers to lay in waiting, striking quickly with her fangs before retreating. Only to wait for her prey to fall dead so then she can consume it.

Species
My Dhani is patterned after a Vipera Berus
General Description: Vipers have a distinctive superorbital scale pattern, the scales extend over their eyes, giving them a lidded appearance. Vipera berus has a recognizable dark colored “V” on its head, the point of which can be found between its eyes.
Length: 65 to 90 centimeters long.
Weight: 50 - 180 grams.
Coloring: In general, vipers are grey, cream, whitish, or pale-yellow, with a distinct dark pattern on their backs and sides. This pattern can be described as zig-zag or a series of contiguous “X”s. The sides of Vipera berus often have a broken zig-zag pattern.
Fangs: Vipers, like other members of Viperidae, have hinged fangs used to inject venom into their prey. Hinged fangs fold at the base to lie against the roof of the mouth. This feature enables these fangs to grow quite large in comparison to those belonging to snakes without hinged fangs
Disposition: Vipers are solitary animals. They rarely are found with other adders, with the exception of mating and hibernation. Vipers are most active during the hours surrounding sundown. During this time of day Vipers can be found actively hunting.
Diet: Vipers are carnivorous and consume a variety of prey. There are two predatory techniques generally utilized by Vipera berus. The first is called the “sit and wait”, or ambush, technique. Vipers wait in one place for prey to pass by so they can strike out, using fangs to inject their prey with enough venom to be fatal. Their keen sense of smell is then used to follow the wounded animal to its death where Vipera berus will proceed to consume the animal head first.
Defense:Occasionally, individual snakes will reveal their presence with a loud and sustained hissing, hoping to warn off potential aggressors. Often, these turn out to be pregnant females. When the adder is threatened, the front part of the body is drawn into an S-shape to prepare for a strike
Venom: Vipers are venomous snakes and their bites are dangerous to humans. While viper bites are rarely fatal, they do require immediate medical treatment and are very painful.
