Physical Appearance
By day, Aon appears as a tall ephemeral Ethaefal by virtue of his allegiance to Syna. His eyes are golden and his iridescent alabaster skin changes in hue with the seasons although it also tends to reflect his mood.

By night he reverts to his last earthbound form as a Myrian in his prime. In this incarnation he is 5’ 11” weighing in at 160 pounds. His eyes are brown and his hair falls just beyond shoulder length. His skin tone is bronze and he bears several distinctive Dagger Wing clan tattoos. The most prominent is an elaborate tattoo of wings in flight that stretch across his back. The inside of his forearms bear tattoos of ornate daggers. There are also tiger stripes tattooed on his upper arms around the shoulders and biceps.

Character
Aon is newfallen from the celestial rift torn in Syna’s realm. He is confused by his current circumstances. His earthbound memories are pre-Valterrian. Being in this precarious state, he is unsure as to how to understand his condition. As an Ethfael he bears all the best good graces of his celestial identity but when he returns to his limited fallen form, his memory of his Myrian instincts as a cold and ruthless assassin emerge. His dual nature causes him deep turmoil as each vies to dominate him. Whether he will maintain the serenity of his spiritual state or succumb to the savagery of his primal past is yet to be seen.

Early History
Aon was once a Myrian warrior of distinction named Kirik within the Dagger Wing clan during the time of the first purging of Falyndar before the Valterrian. His clan served as messengers and assassins for the goddess-queen Myri. What more meaningful message could be sent other than the finality of death? Kirik lead a particularly effective troupe of “messengers” within the family that earned the favour of their clan matriarch as well as the attention of Myri herself. Aon was granted the privilege of bonding with a Tiger named Kazan. His further advancement, however, was hampered by his affinity with the sun goddess Syna since his clan preferred the worship of Dira, the goddess of death. The warrior accepted this, choosing to submit to the clan. On a mission during the purge, he assassinated the chieftain of the Jollai tribe but found himself trapped and outnumbered by enemy warriors. In the attempt to fight his way out he was killed.

Why Syna lay claim to his soul was a mystery that was difficult for Aon to understand let alone accept at first. The stark contrast between his warlike past and the blissful serenity he now experienced was jarring. In time, the fellowship of the souls that inhabited Syna’s realm and the influence of the goddess herself changed his spirit. He embraced the eternal delight and perpetual peace he now enjoyed.

When he slipped from the fissure caused by the Valterrian, Aon was caught completely by surprise. He drifted onto the shores of Konti Island confused and disoriented on the 45th Day of Fall, 510 P.V.
