Summer 90
"The Fighter's pit, a perfect place to train, and fight." Garland said to himself, he saw that the pit was as busy as ever. Dispute the cold of fall coming in, the training and all the happenings of the pit was going by as usual.
He tighter his jacket around his torso, he never was the cold type. He looked around the area and saw two fighters sparring with each other. Their swords clang with each hit, resonating through the arena. One of the fighters parried the other's strike and shoved him to the ground. He pointed his blade at the fallen fighter.
The trill of watching the fight was worthwhile, but Garland wanted to learn and experience instead of watching and taking notes.
He pushed through the crowd, and grabbed one of the iron sword, it was dull but it would do the job in a pinch. He jumped into the arena, and waited for a challenger to appear.
