OOC Info Upon Dark Shores

So, my character is arriving. I want to post in the Northern Docks, but before I do I have a bunch of questions:

Do I have to wait for a Cicerone guide? Do I write up an NPC Cicerone? Can I just wander around aimlessly?

What type of jobs are there for a Charoda? Would One Foot in the Grave even have the... resources or even desire for a singer?

Is the Western Bay totally nonexistent now or it it more like a Western Shore?

You do not necessarily have to make a Cicerone NPC guide, you can make up a generic NPC, be it Cicerone or even Svefra to give you directions, the path from the northern Docks to the Peak of the Island is fairly straightforward, and from the Peak, the folks in the Administration Office can give Phyolea any directions she needs from there.

Job opportunities are very open, though there aren't a lot of locations open for employment, Black Rock is very industrious so you can be employed in basically any trade skill, though for the Charodae of the Eastern Bay, they probably work most in farming kelp and seaweeds and fishing.

The Western Bay is now the Eastern Bay, same exact principal, as described in the linkmap

Cool... Would the Svefra join in for the celebrations conducted for Myri's birthday?

Hooray, Phyolea's en route to the Administration Office. I think I'll wait until Jalyern and Vesta are a little less busy before I post in there Will there be seasonal challenges?

The Svefra moreso than the other races of Black Rock might partake in the festivities surrounding Myri's birthday, but not all of them.

Feel free to post at any time in the Office, I can keep track of multiple PC's in there, and this season there will not be any challenges, though probably for the Spring time I'll make some up.

Hello Rockers!

So I have stopped by to show you off some new locations! The first you may have seen in the Creation Corner as Amrita did us the wonderful job of re-vamping one of Black Rock's old locations beautifully for us in the form of Dead Man's Tales

The other two locations are very directly linked in the paper industry that is a big part of Black Rock's identity in the way that it garners trade and resources for most of the natural things that it doesn't produce. Both main workshops, Simylaisssen and Cliffside are always in direct competition with each other for business arrangements and sales, though their differing products net unique buyers in most cases. Though their rivalry is fierce it never gets violent in order to keep peace on the island, but that doesn't mean both sides Myrian and Dhani don't enjoy making trouble for each other from time to time

I just wanted to give a big thank you to everyone who has submitted in the Creation Corner. I haven't forgotten about your submissions, and am merely trying to figure out where to put them at present. Most likely until we get a lot of plants and critters there will be a nice forum for everything in Veiled in the Fog, which will eventually get shifted into the wiki once we have enough to make pages for each.
