The Citadel of the Dead Queen, Black Rock is the island off of the eastern coast of Falyndar. Mythic and mysterious, few know what truly inhabits it. [Lore]
Summer in Black Rock is only barely hotter than Spring. Though the beginning of the season is just as rainy, this slowly abates as the season moves onward, leaving the Fog soaked isle wet in the mornings but dry, warm, and clear as the day continues. While a slow and uneventful season for the most part, the arrival of The Mischief has most island inhabitants in a frenzy either preparing products for trade or simply excited for the spectacle that is the ship from Alvadas. Both Myrian and Dhani ply their trade in order to get as much product out to the ship as they can, and many Charodae crafters sell their wares on the Northern docks both to the Alvadas trading ship as well as at a discount to islanders.

10th - Several Iyvess make their way back from Simylaissen surprisingly in tact having brokered a peace between the Dhani of Black Rock
18th - A particularly beautiful tattoo emerges from Epitaph Ink on the back of a Svefra woman, depicting Dira and Kihala in balance with one another
25th - An influx of fresh fish sees a busy day at the Northern Docks, the fishermen in such good moods that everyone finds it easier to barter with them
27th - Several Iyvess bring in the remains of a large squid to the Northern Docks offering it as a peace offering to the Svefra they offended a few seasons ago
35th - Ishta'ar is held in the Eastern Bay
40th - A single Omen is spotted wandering out into the Black Marsh
42nd - Laviku's Jewels has a 25 % off sale on all fish, glass containers, and starting kits
56th - U'luia is celebrated in the morning in the Eastern Bay and in the Evening at the Northern docks
62nd - Several otherwise peaceful evenings are disturbed upon the Crag by noisy ghosts causing a ruckus late at night
73rd - Alvadas' Mischief comes into the Northern Docks setting up on the beach and dock area to trade as well as entertainment during their stay on the isle.

Fall comes to Black Rock marked by a let up in the steady, albeit light rainfall that marked Falyndar's monsoon season. The weather cools, though only slightly, and though there is less rain, most every day is cloudy with large fog banks rolling in the mornings to clear in the late afternoon. On a dark moonless night early in the season the Saltwater Iyvess arrive at the island, unbeknownst to all residents of the isle save the Charoda in the Western Bay to which they swim. Their presence remains secret until the dens sent to explore the island emerge on land in human form, a strange and barbaric seeming group of humanoids traveling without guidance to Dira's Spire. Their antics don't stop there, however...

20th - The Saltwater Iyvess reveal themselves in human form as a group of 30 or so climb up the island's slopes to pay homage to Dira.
24th - A seismic event shakes the Isle late at night, and the next day a strange fissure near the Western Bay is found to have appeared in the side of the island.
32nd - The Svefra hold their seasonal festivities on the docks, going for three days withe everyone isle wide invited
35th - A fight breaks out between the Svefra and the Saltwater Iyvess resulting in the rare appearance of the Omen's who make 4 of the Dhani numbers vanish into thin air.
38th - Rumors circulate that the Iyvess were turned into Ashls, but their denmates refuse to believe such stories, and instead search for their missing companions (quest line)
47th - A shipment of fruit and lumber arrives from Taloba and stalls are set up on the spot to buy delectable icy fruit smoothies and refreshments.

Winter 514 :
Winter 514 A.V.
Winter is mild, though the very beginning of the season is fairly rainy, the majority of winter is fairly warm and dry. The Charodae of the bay host several seahorse races throughout the season, Svefra from the docks providing libations and boats to view the races on. Several Eypharian vessels come in the middle of the season seeking paper and tensions run high as Dhani and Myrians in charge of both major paper workshops try to upsell their own products.
1st - Myri's Birthday is celebrated mostly on the Peak and Crag of the isle for the first week of the season
13th - The Arriving Night: Those dedicated enough gather around the peak to stand vigilant in preparation of new Ghosts arriving upon the island. This year several dozen new ghosts come upon Arriving Night and a rather hushed yet festive atmosphere takes the peak, the stones covered in paper lanterns and food and soulmist wherever one might look.
20th - The first seahorse race is held in the Eastern Bay a small flotilla of Svefra boats in the middle of the 'track' that spectators can get rowed to to better enjoy the sights. A brilliant Aquamarine and yellow striped horse named Liku wins the day.

54th - The Eypharian vessel's depart
