Seliarus stands for around 5'4'' feet tall, and weights 11.9 stones. Long, coal black hair rests on his neck, and several locks of hair cover the left side of his face, covering most of the left eye, if not all. His eyes glow sickly green instead of the usual white pattern. His skin is pale, and scar-less. His body build, is considered slim, and almost underweight. Anorexic, if you may As of late, there is also a chevas mark on the left side of his neck, slightly below and behind the ear. A mixture between his human self, and his snake self, Seliarus , from snout to tail, is around 11 feet tall. His skin pattern changes to a black and green combination, and small, shiny scales appear all over his body. From his snout out, several, long and sharp fangs can be seen. His body, even though covered with scales, has the same anorexic built. As a snake, Seliarus , being 8 feet long, keeps the same skin pattern as his Dhani self. Around his head, the usual hood could be seen, most likely flattened for the majority of time. A row of sharp claws could be seen pointing out from his mouth, and sometimes, a few drops of poison could be seen dripping off them. |
Seliarus is often cold, but it is not in his nature to act rude towards someone. While he enjoys talking about things, he will never do, or try to make a conversation running. He lacks trust in people, his own or any other.(Even though he could be seen helping another Dhani) He, however, tries to keep those who he could call friends, safe. Not many cross the line from stranger to friend, but if they do, Sel can prove a valuable companion. Once every so often, his hunger grows to an unsteady level, and he usually disappears for several days, hunting something, or someone, to ease the hunger. One of many of his problems is, however, if he dislikes someone. By the way they talk, or act. He can grow extremely cruel towards that individual. When that happens, Sel could, and often will slowly inflict pain towards the one he dislikes. May it be poison, or possibly even mental pain. As a note, Sel may not understand any usage of phases, because he has difficulties keeping track of them. |
Seliarus was born in the nest in Zinrah. In a clutch of four eggs to the mother Schssalissia, to call her without her whole name. Mother, as Sel always called her, was very protective to him, his two brothers, and his sister. He never really knew his father well, as he was usually gathering the food with the rest of the males. Mother, on the other hand, barely even slept as he and his siblings grew. She was the most caring person he ever knew, to be honest. Even though when she got angry, it was her word who was left standing. She always listened to the queen of the Nest, and treated her with the respect she deserved. She also taught her children to always show respect to a fellow Dhani. Or Siku will be angry, then she doesn’t like her children fighting. Years passed, as he Sel wasn’t seen as a hatchling anymore. He was allowed to of the nest travel out with his brothers, and the feeling of dashing trough the leaves was amazing. What was even more amazing was the bittersweet murder of his first rat. Even though he wasn’t the first from his brothers to score the title of the hunter, his mother treated everyone the same. She was so proud. And what could a little snakeling want more? At quite of an early age, he was taught that the humans aren’t to be trusted, then they hate the Dhani. For what they are. He was also taught he wasn’t a human. And than he doesn’t want to be a human. Mother always told him he should be proud on his race. Proud on his being. And proud that Siku watches over him. When he was coming in the hood of a youngling, Sel managed, after days of trying, to Shift into his Dhani form. What was amazing? Suddenly, he was big. He had hands! Even though he was still quite small, he could now be like his Mother was. Sel fell in love with the form he was in. It was then when he realized what his mother meant. He was not a human. He was something more. Much more. His youngling days passed with the usual day. Learning with the other Dhani about survival, food, and everything else he had to know. What animals are good to hunt, or what he should never hunt alone. He understood what it meant to have someone to watch your back, even though at that time, he felt no one could ever do him any harm. But then again, aren’t all children like that? His first real touch with humans was when he, and his siblings were out in the forest alone, hunting a smaller wild animal. There were hunters carrying flexible twigs with some string on it, and the younglings, naive as they were, did not hide. The humans got scared from what they saw, and defended themselves. This resulted with three out of four Dhani younglings dying, thanks to the arrows. Sel, shocked as he was, was taken for an “examination” by the hunters. He did manage to escape the same day when the hunters decided to camp up, but Sel was scarred because of what happened for his life. He swore he will never trust a human again. When he came into the hood of a young adult, he started to look at the world more maturely. He wasn’t going to play all the evenings anymore, as he was now accompanying the other Males in search for food. He had to learn how to hunt, not simply listen to stories. The times as a young adult were more thrilling, as there was much more to do, then to look, or listen. No one said ‘Oh, he’s just a hatchling, let me do it for him.’ He was looked at as every other Dhani in the nest. So he had to act the proper way. When he entered the phase of an adult, the first thing he did was having an talk with his mother about him leaving the nest for a while. To see if he is strong enough to survive on his own, without everyone watching his back. As he was officially seen as an adult in the nest, his mother allowed him to depart, in the pursue of a better life. She did remind him however, to act more maturely when dealing with humans, so that an accident like last time wouldn’t happen. Her mother gifted him her fang, which had fallen out a while back. Well, he left, of course, at the age of hundred and four, traveling around Mizahar. Will fill this out later \o/ |
