Kulde Frostfawn Hunter Basic Information Name: Kulde Frostfawn Race: Vantha Birthday & Age : Spring 20th - 490 AV. 20 years. Gender: Male Height: 5’7’’ Weight: 169 pounds. Physical Description: Kulde got a well-proportioned body, it is well toned and some parts are very muscular from years of practicing with his bow and the harsh life in the wilderness when hunting. He got a couple of scars around his body from hunting accidents and other mishaps. Character Concept: Kulde loves to be out hunting, he loves the thrill of hunting and being out in the wilds. He loves the long stretches of being alone in a beautiful cold landscape. As he also loves to be in his family home and be within a warm circle of family and friends. He loves the frozen north. Kulde doesn’t talk unless he thinks it is necessary. As with most Vantha, he loves Morwen with all of his heart and would gladly give up his life for her. Character History: Kulde, being born into the Frostfawn family, has spend much of time out in the wilderness hunting and surviving. He grew to love the wilderness when he was out there. Liking the stretches of solitude, directly contrasting the busy hive he called home. Where he rarely had a moment of privacy. Out there he felt at peace with the world. Even when an arrow flew true and felled a creature, he felt like a part of nature. But he did miss his family when he out in the wild, but when he was with his family, he missed the wild. He grew to love the animals in the wild and he would make sure, that when he was out hunting that he gave the animals a quick and painless death. As he possible could. Had he made a poor hit and an animal managed to get away from him before he could get in a killing strike, he would feel sad for the animal. He would sometimes hunt the animal for hours, sometimes for entire days, caring little for his own health in his attempt to ease the suffering of the animal. One of these times, Kulde was gone for several days before he finally tracked down a deer he had hit, the animal had finally given up and was lying next to a tree gasping and gurgling in blood. Kulde, drew his dagger and plunged it deeply into the heart of the deer. Feeling relieved that the deer no longer would be in pain, but also sad because of the pain he had caused it to suffer because of his poor shot. After he returned, pretty famished from several days out in the wild with little food (since he couldn’t carry a deer all the way home and he had left his fire-starter gear behind, to move quicker.) He spent the next couple of weeks recovering from his long trek through the wilderness. After that particular incident, Kulde practiced more diligently with the bow, not wanting to cause an animal the same prolonged suffering. On one of his treks into the wilderness, he came across an Ice Watch patrol. Strong men riding on even stronger polar bears. Kulde was so impressed that he wanted to join this impressive organisation. Wanting to protect the wilderness and the god that he held so dear in his heart. Kulde took care of a snow rabbit from the moment it was old enough to be seperated from his mother. He dubed it Snow (because he lacked imagination). It was snow white and Kulde grew very attached to it, taking great care of it for many years. The rabbit became the father of many kits, but eventually it grew old and died. Kulde was heart broken for a long time. He had killed many animals in the wild, but the death of Snow was the single most tragic thing that ever happened to him. As he grew older, he spent more and more time in the wilds. Loving the freedom it gave him. After turning 20, Kulde began to actively seek out Ice Watch and try to join, being told that the tryouts would be during the fall/winter season.
