(OOC: It's cool. :))

Suresslynn watched as the Pycon scrambled around looking for something to help make a monster, before alighting on a heavy blanket. As the Pycon explained her plan, the dhani took a moment before nodding. While she could make herself a monster, she preferred this better. Less of a chance of getting killed by some knight with more armor than brains before she could change.

At the little Pycon's suggestion, Lynn nodded and picked up both the blanket and the two Pycons before taking them behind a stall so no one would see them become a monster. "Just the blanket isn't gonna cover it, Sera. Not monstrous enough on it's own. But that cone and..." she glanced at the rat looking Pycon. "Can you give yourself spikes?" she asked, as she picked among the rubble for anything they could use to make their fake monster more real. A half-full pot of what looked like some kind of stew, a truly foul smelling...something, and a torn up bit of leather. Not a great selection.

"This...could be harder than I thought. But maybe...how good is a Pycon's sense of smell? If we rub...whatever that is," she gestured at the foul smelling something, "on the blanket to give it an unnatural smell, soak bits of leather in the stew to make it look more like something flesh and somehow stick that on the blanket, then maybe pour the stew on it to make glisten...basically, if we can make it seem like some people-eating horror, it might have more of an effect, you see what I mean?" she said, looking at what she had found.

“Of course!” The rat pycon replied with a dismissive hand gesture, before tensing up his posture. In an instant spikes grew from the rats body like snail eyeballs and covered his tiny frame until he looked like an oversized pincushion. “Thats what your thinking right?” He replied with certainty as he wiggled his spikes about.

“Ohh I can look like a monster too!” Nivel interjected before plunging her hands into her torso. She pulled vertically in opposite directions, stretching a massive hole in her body. The void filled with rounded teeth like protrusions. When she felt the hole was big enough she did the same to her mouth pulling horizontally this time.
She did a little spin on her one foot followed by a little growl.
“Do I look scary?” She flapped her wings timidly.
“I think so” The rat pycon replied “ I might need to step my game up.” With that he punched his own face consecutively to loosen up his features. When he was done his face was that of a snarling three eyed rodent that was sure to give people nightmares.
“Oh Marvellous!” Nivel clapped at the peculiar display and the rat gave her a bow.

“I think my sense of smell is pretty good but I’m willing to do what it takes, Pour that smelly stuff all over me.” Nivel proclaimed with sudden confidence. “For the Knight Hood!”
The rat only shrugged his shoulders and replied with “I’m a rat”

The next part of their plan was to some how attach the leather to the fabric, but nothing seemed to stick out that would work. Nivel wish she had her sewing supplies with her but it would probably take to long anyway. She continued to see what possible things she could salvage when she noticed a rusty nail sticking out of a broken wooden plank.
“Could we pierce that through the leather to keep it on?” Nivel suggested as she pointed to what she was referring to. “Its probably not the best thing but this monster doesn’t need to hold together that well”

Terror in Stormhold: Panic at the Great Bazaar

Lynn just watched as the two Pycons made themselves hideous, her eyes widening a bit with each transformation. "That's....actually pretty neat." she said, laughing slightly as she took off her coat. "Guess I'd better make myself into a monster too, then. I'll be able to understand common, but I won't be able to speak it. Mouth will be the wrong shape." she said as she kicked off her boots and took off her shirt and pants. Then she began to change, her legs merging together and a wave of scales washing over her flesh as her head morphed into a more serpentine shape. It wasn't long before the Dhani stood before her companions in the form named after their species.

Picking up the pail of smelly stuff, she poured it over both of the Pycons and herself before she took the broken plank and piercing both the leather and the blanket with the nail after which she poured the very last of the smelly stuff over the blanket. "Ugh, I can taste all this. This is absolutely foul." she hissed, picking up the two Pycons and putting them on her shoulders before she draped the blanket over all three of them. Slithering out of the wreckage into the crowd, Suresslynn let out a loud hiss as people saw them and started to flee, fortunately heading in the right direction this time.

Nivel probably should have been at least a little surprised that Lynn was able to change her form since it seemed like most tall folk were unable. The thought just didn’t enter her nexus with all that was going on and she just accepted it as an everyday occurrence.
“Okay just wave your hands around a lot if you need me” Nivel said in response to the Lynn’s statement. The pycon didn’t completely understand what the tall folk meant since her race was made of clay and didn’t really need a mouth to communicate. She still pretended like she understood, since she didn’t want to seem dense and it seemed like the rat was doing the same.

The mystery fluid’s texture was about as horrid as it’s stench, which was so revolting it made Nivel’s Nexus quiver.
“I don’t want to know what this stuff is..” Nivel stated in disgust. She looked over to the shoulder to find that the rat seemed to be almost enjoying the smell or at least didn’t seem bothered by it. He shrugged his little shoulders at Nivel’s comment casually, and focused on the task at hand.

As they got out into the crowd Nivel let out her best impression of a haunting moan and a menacing growl to add some flavour to their performance. The probably weren’t the best she could do but it certainly seemed to scare quite a few people who luckily seemed to head in the right direction this time.

Soon only the injured and were left on the Great Bazaar streets, the panic masses had ran to much safer part of the city. A Grim looking Symenestra man limped over to the three after they had shifted and changed to their normal street clothes to thank them for their help. He awkwardly pulled back from shaking Lynns hand once he got a good whiff of there awful body odour.
“You might want to wash up.” he stated before making his exit.
