Nomadic Years

Quinton was born to a couple of travelers who hailed from one of the nomadic communities of Kalea, though they had left that community before Quinton's birth. Both were affiliated with magic, though of different categories. They wandered Kalea looking for places of magic and practicing their skills on their own, but Quinton wanted more than just that. He had barely any experience with people beyond the occasional traveler his family ran into, telling stories of cities he had only seen from a distance. So he left one day, bidding his parents farewell.

 

Traveling Years

Selling some trinkets his family had gathered earned Quinton a bit of coin, but not much. It was enough to get Quinton lodgings for a couple seasons so that he could find work. As it turned out, Shielding was quite a useful skill, as was Voiding for the densely populated settlements. So it was that Quinton lived the next few chapters of his life traveling between cities, scraping together a living while learning about these marvelous metropolises. His most recent journey has taken him to Lhavit, and so enamored is he that he might not leave...

 

Character Overview

Overall, Quinton is an optimistic rather than pessimistic person. He's come close to death in the Unforgiving multiple times, yet thanks to luck and wit he's managed to pull through it all. His positive attitude has assisted him quite a bit, and his determination has pushed him closer toward his aims, whatever they happen to be at that moment. At the end of the day, he simply wishes to learn as much as he can, for as long as he can enjoy the process and practice those skills which make him who he is. Beyond that, he does not know what he wants.

Heirloom - Traveler's Pipe

This small traveler's pipe was a gift from Quinton's father, who had a similar one which he used often. Quinton received it when he was just before he entered adulthood, and he picked up the habit incredibly quickly. Rarely seen without it.

Quinton has been traveling from city to city, mostly in Kalea though he has on occasion visited other cities on the Suvan while staying in Alvadas. Most recently he has reached Lhavit, and has little intention to leave.

Currently staying at the Solar Wind Apartments, renting a simple room. Later in the season he will move to the Tower's Respite in the interest of learning more about magic with fellow students who have a likewise penchant for study.
