Details Race: Mixed Blood (Svefra, Myrian) Gender: Male Birthday: 28th day of Summer 485 AV Birthplace: Suvan Sea Age: 27 Height 6'5 Eye color: Grey Haircolor: Very Dark brown Appearance: Estlin has dark hair from his father, and while as a child his eyes were the blue of Laviku, they have since faded to gray, this change in color has been sometimes seen as a result of Estlin falling out of touch with the gods, including Laviku. He is tall and strong of stature, being well-muscled and tanned from many days working in the sun, he is also especially 'sturdy' do to his Myrian blood. Estlin in normally clean-shaven and washed respectably when on shore. He tries a little less hard to keep up appearances when at sea and often alone. Scars Estlin has a long, irregular scar on his left forearm from being caught wrapped around a sail rope when he was fourteen. Mostly the scar remains hidden by his sleeves. Gnosis Estlin is lacking the usual Gnosis of Laviku, a fact that has always made him feel like an outcast around his fellow Svefra

Character Concept Estlin is neither an optimist nor a pessimist, he tries to see the facts as they are and decide what is the most likely, and/or most profitable outcome. He is a rare non-believer, denying the presence of deity on Mizahar, he has knowledge in magic, and practices Animation, but he can't seem to wrap his head around the idea of gods. A proud man, Estlin can also be called honorable, he isn't exactly generous...but if your in need and he is in a position to help he likely will, if he's not putting himself in direct danger. If you are his friend or someone he cares about, though, he might actually risk his hide for yours. He is generally quite pleasant to everyone, quick to smile and sometimes just as quick to anger. He isn't a 'people person' but he can get along with them just fine.

Character History

Estlin was born to a Svefra mother and a Myrian father, and that is about all he knows of his father, who was long gone by the time he was born. Shortly after his birth, Estlin's mother sailed to Kenash, where she had friends in the form of the Draer Dynasty. She had decided early in his childhood that Estlin would not be wholly satisfyed with the Svefra life (though who wouldn't love it?) and determined Kenash was the place to raise him. Estlin was raised well in Kenash. His mother found good work there and educated her son. Being surrounded by the dynasty politics in Kenash, Estlin has grown to deeply dislike politics and has always managed to stay out of them. He was a roaming boy, wandering the plantations and swamp, building rafts and sailing in any open patch of water. And he was rarely alone, in his younger years he coralled many a Draer child into helping man his make-shift Casinors and Palivars. He was always destined to leave, though. Estlin could never stay in one place for long, nor could he fit in with the same group of people. He loved the water, loved sailing, but he always felt somehow...un-Svefra, and even more un-Kenashian. When his mother died the summer of his nineteenth birthday, Estlin was gone the next day. Taking his own Casinor and not looking back. He wandered for a time, stopping in different cities, doing this-and-that to earn Miza's, seeking new and interesting skills. This is how he learned of Animation, one of his more lasting skills. He travels a lot still, and tinkers with crafts and animation.
