Physical Appearance: It is extremely evident that Darrus is a vantha, even from a distance with the blue streaks in his hair, and his eyes that never seem to settle on a single color for very long, although the are most likely some shade of blue or green. He has a lean build, but not too skinny, with the same warm skin color shared by the vantha.

Personality: To say that Darrus' life revolved around his dogs would be an understatement. Being born into the Frostfawn hold gave him a natural talent in working with animals, specifically canines, and it didn't help that his father also worked with them. He isn't much of a social person, although every once in a great while he will go out and have a drink or two, and of course the festivals draw him out as well. He enjoys going hunting with his sled team, as well as giving tours of the area surrounding the city via sled to anyone who wants to get out for a bit. When it comes to ethics, he's not a huge fan of lying, but understands that sometimes the truth can do more harm than a lie. He tries to help out whenever someone needs it, offering his limited knowledge of medicine that he picked up from his mother. His likes include dogs (of course), Spending time with his family, carving in his spare time, going dog sledding, and his bondmate Minosayaa. His dislikes include, pretty much anything bad happening to an animal, the constant shopping for more clothes for Mino, and trying to explain why there is suddenly a naked girl in the room and where his dog went. On a side note, while Darrus dislikes killing animals, he sees hunting as necessary for the welfare of the city. As a result, he tries to make the deaths of the animals as quick and painless as possible.

Pre-PC History: Darrus was born into the Frostfawn hold by his father, Issac Frostfawn, an experienced dog trainer, and his mother, Lilliana Frostfawn, formerly Lilliana Whitevine (although his bondmate seems convinced she was from the Winterflame hold, given her skill with cooking). Growing up in the Frostfawn hold was interesting to say the least, given the amount of animals within at any given time, not that he minded of course. His father always took him with whenever he would work with the dogs, thus cementing the young vanthan's afinity for them. His father had also taken in a young Zypherion sled dog pup which he had named Talos around the time Darrus was three, and the two hit it off instantly. there was scarcely a moment where you would catch one of them without the other, either wrestling around, exploring the hold (and on one occasion the entire city), or napping together. The years went on, and Talos became Issac's lead sled dog, with Darrus always cheering them on whenever there was a race or other event. Now Talos is retired to a life of leisure, and will he may be closing in on his end, he still follows Darrus around from time to time, not at all bothered by his relationship with Mino.
