Leth's Glow
A voice spoke up, its owner leaning against the door frame of Leth's Glow. The warm ambiance from the inside of the building illuminated the hulking figure's silhouette, the front side of the male cast in shadows. "Keep walking."
The recipient, a much smaller man, cocked his head, "Excuse me?" The words were said with a sharp irritation, convinced that another male wasn't giving him orders.
Kol spoke up again, his voice dark and heavy, "Keep. Walking." As a bouncer, Kol kept his arms crossed, his eyes ablaze with anger. His temper was dangerously high and his patience low. Standing and staring at the man who was trying to walk back inside after calling the establishment's owner a few choice words, Kol was an unmovable wall. He'd tear this man apart before letting him pass.
"You think you're something special?"
Kol remained silent at the remark, letting out a long exhale of air while the man gave a bitter laugh. The man waved his arms around dramatically, calling to Myrians walking past, "Oh look! This man is tall! Be careful!" he turned towards Kol, lowering his voice to a distasteful level, "You think 'cause you're a freak you're so strong? I could kill you in seconds. Now, let me in."
Kol's eyes narrowed at the threat. It was certainly not the first he had heard, nor the last. Slowly and deliberately Kol began to pop his knuckles. The steady cracking was not calming his anger. Inside there was a build up of stress needing to be let loose. The idea of smashing this stranger's skull into the ground repeatedly flashed in his mind. He wanted to feel his blood run down his arms in warm trickles, the swelling of flesh when he ground his face into the dirt.
".... Are you even listening to me, Deyhan?"
Kol wanted to kill him.
"No."
The visible anger rose onto the other man's features, and with a snarl, he pulled back, ready to hit the bouncer. Kol tightening his stomach, the man's fist colliding into the abdomen. Absorbing the blow as best he could, when his eyes raised, he knew it was time.
