The Harvest Festival

Sayana grinned devilishly as Bakar agreed to her request. As he started to head off into the crowd, she quickly returned the mug to the lady at the stall with a word of thanks. She then started to sift through the crowd herself and kept her cloak wrapped about her, held in place with her high hands. Her other arms stayed at her sides and she looked more or less human. She considered pulling up the hood too, but she decided that it would probably attract more attention rather than less in this festive environment.

For the first little bit she tried to move as quickly as she could without startling anyone. She got a few glances but they tended to assume she was just in a hurry. It didn’t matter too much because she was still far enough away from the “beacon spear” to be noticed by the squire. As she started to get closer, she slowed her pace and tried to match the crowd’s movements. She didn’t have much practice blending in, since that was rarely on her agenda, but at least she had the advantage of her shorter height and that she was at least able to notice the ebb and flow of the crowd.

She was close enough to see her target now and it seemed like Bakar was also just reaching the pair. He seemed to be doing a well enough job, since neither Garland nor his lady friend had started glancing around for her. As a precaution she kept her head low and tried to keep behind at least one bystander at all times. She almost cursed when they started moving again (since a moving target is always harder than a stationary one), but in fact it seemed like they were simply going to sit down on an empty bench. It meant a little more maneuvering, but at last she positioned herself directly behind the trio and went in for the kill.

Hey Baker, have you told Saede how we met?

“Gotcha!” She cried in triumph as she blindfolded him with her mid hands. At the same time she also grabbed his wrists with her lows just in case the surprise caused his fighting instincts to kick in – and thus she appeared to be practically hugging him.

“Guess who?” She asked playfully into his ear without releasing his eyes just yet.

OOCOh and feel free to have Garland, or another character for that matter, push her hands away from his eyes

The Harvest Festival

As soon as Garland asked his question, Bakar saw Sayana come up from behind. "Gotcha!" She yelled. She placed her middle hands over his eyes and wrapped her lower around his wrists, almost embracing him. Bakar felt that he reacted more than Garland did, despite not being the target and expecting it. He flinched and took a step back the from the group, almost wanting to run. This was a bad idea. What if he's angry? What have I done?

Bakar didn't run, but neither did he regain his composure. He stood there, flinched back, looking he was ready to sprint at a moment's notice. He watched Garland, seeing how he'd react. If it was angrily, he would be gone, scared that he'd ruined his friendship with the young man.

"Guess who?" She leaned over her head, talking into his ear. Sayana seemed to be a very touchy person. Meaning, she wasn't embarrassed by touch, she was very open with it. She seemed to be comfortable with anyone, despite not even knowing them well. He thought back to how they had met. She had placed her hands on his back. She had danced with Garland pretty readily. Now she was almost embracing him, even if it was for a prank, not affection.

OOCYeah, not a lot of people know of Bakar's undeath. (Which I just realized how much I love that word. Thanks Garland!) Garland only knows because of a mishap Bakar had during a shopping trip. :P Also, sorry for this not being too long, didn't want to continue too far ahead before Garland had his reaction.
As of Summer, 63, 515, Bakar has a different body! If never met you before, then this doesn't really matter to you, but people I've met should take this into account, as you're really unlikely to recognize me. :P

The Harvest Festival

Postby Saede Lare on October 4th, 2014, 2:53 am

Post template one:
Saede noticed Sayana approaching only a few seconds before she restrained Garlen. Being put temporarily off guard, she instinctively reached for the spear behind her back. Reminding herself that nobody here was going to threaten her, she relaxed a bit; and released her left hand from the spear.
"Gotcha!" Sayana covered Garlen's eyes playfully.
"Guess who?"
Saede wondered how Garland would react, being grabbed from behind even by a friendly voice was enough to panic most people. Although, Sayana seemed prepared having grabbed his other limbs as well.

Saede smiled at Sayana, her eyes changing to a deep brown. Sayana seemed a nice person, and she wondered if she had known Garlen and Bakar before this. Maybe.. She thought to herself. She didn't want to ruin the surprise, so she just looked up grinning at them, absorbing the mood of the festival. It'd be nice to have a few more friends around. It's always nice to have a few more friends. Friends she could depend on and trust, they seemed a much more plentiful here than they did in Sunberth. People were friendlier, the town is happier. Everything is just.. better. She didn't have the same freedom that she did, but this safety was far worth it. After the surprise was up, she said,
"Hey Sayana, thing of entering the sparring contest with us? We're planning on entering. Er, me and Garlen."
She turned to Bakar, giving him an encouraging look. She wondered if he could use a weapon with any skill. Most civilians couldn't, so maybe he'd just enter for fun. Then again, that didn't quite seem like him. He knew Garlen fairly well, and right now, well, now he seemed just as surprised as Garlen. He flinched back, and looked like a pickpocket who got caught in the act. I suppose this was planned then, he would already know Sayana's friendly. Regardless, he was either frightened of the event or feeling somewhat guilty. She assumed the latter.

OOCNew template! I think it's nice but y'know, it's not the best. We're all just kind of waiting for garland to react at this point.

Saede seemed a bit tense, so he wondered about that, but then he had lost his vision and felt something grab his wrist, he knew it was Sayana, but he panicked.

"Gotcha!" She seemed very touchy, if he wasn't already sorta committed to a certain Konti girl he was hoping to meet again one day

"Guess who?" He felt her warm breath on his cheek, he blushed, but he was still not thinking clearly, it usually takes something drastic for him to calm down, especially since he still wasn't used Eypharian race, especially one that's so... Attractive.

He was physically stronger than Sayana, but without his sight, he had to feel his way. He pushed his arms up trying to grab something, maybe to counter with. He reached around his shoulders, and grabbed something soft and firm with both of his hands. He gave a small squeeze, it was definitely flesh.

He blushed and removes his arms from Sayana. "Please tell me, I grabbed one of your arms..." He kept on blushing, waiting for her to reply.

oocsorry short post, in school, didn't want to keep you waiting

The Harvest Festival

Postby Sayana on October 4th, 2014, 3:42 am

Sayana produced a look of surprise and immediately released his eyes – using those hands to sharply slap each of his. The next moment she had her dagger drawn and it pressed lightly against the squire’s throat, held in her low right.

“Don’t you ever fondle me,” she cried in outburst. “Not without kissing me first.” Still keeping the cool steel against his skin she kissed him deeply on the mouth, one hand cupping his cheek and turning his face towards her slightly.

With that she straightened up and returned the blade to its sheath. She looked at both Saede and Bakar as if daring them to speak against her actions. Bakar still looked rather stunned from the initial surprise, even though he had known it would be coming. Regaining her composure, Sayana turned to Saede and in an off-hand tone answered, “Sparring contest? I don’t spar.”

She promptly took a seat in Garland’s lap with her high arms folded across her chest.

The Harvest Festival

Postby Bakar on October 4th, 2014, 4:17 am

Bakar watched as Garland tried to fight back, wrenching his hands free, reaching back and- oh. Garland froze and nearly begged; "Please tell me, I grabbed one of your arms..." This had started to go wrong, just as Bakar was worried it might. He wanted to run, not to be blamed for this wrong doing, but before he could react, Sayana did first.

She pressed her dagger against his throat. "Oh no, please, please no." Bakar whispered to himself. Sayana scolded Garland, before- oh. She.. kissed him? Bakar was beyond confused, too stunned to turn and run. She seemed.. unstable. He was a little nervous being around her after that. "I guess.. Garland did fondle her..." He whispered again. "But.. now that they've kissed, does that mean he can fondle her?" Completely unaware he was talking aloud, he was now just speaking his mind.

Sayana removed the blade from Garland's neck and returned it to it's sheath. She looked right at Bakar and he froze, scared he'd be a target next. She turned to Saede however and answered her question. If Saede and Garland entered the sparring contest, he may be expected to stay with Sayana alone. That scared him.

Sayana proceeded to sit in Garland's lap, folding her arms over her chest. Bakar was still stunned from the action he just witnessed before realizing he was standing in a preparatory sprint position. He was unsure if he should actually sprint or relax. He trusted that if anything went wrong, Garland and Saede would be able to resist the six-armed woman. Maybe.

He half-relaxed physically, but remained ready to sprint at the first hint of danger. Mentally his mind was still running however. What had just happened? Was she angry? Was she.. flirting with him, in her own, strange way? He shifted nervously, unsure of where this situation would go. He sidestepped closer to Saede unconsciously, hoping for some form of protection, but he remained silent. He wasn't going to be the first to speak after such an incident.

OOCHoly shit. That was really unexpected. XD Smooth move, Garland. Saede, love the new template. I've been meaning to set one up for a while, but haven't gotten around to it, as you've probably noticed. Sayana. My. God. That was also really unexpected. .-. I have no idea how to react to that. X3

The Harvest Festival

Postby Saede Lare on October 4th, 2014, 1:00 pm

For some reason, Garland didn't appear quite as surprised as anyone had anticipated, and appeared one of the least surprised in the group. When she grabbed him He reached back and.. Grabbed her? Sayana was not going to take any of this. She rapidly unsheathed her dagger, bringing it to Garland's throat while he was still constrained. Saede's eyes snapped between deep purple, and then a dark orange. This was not going to end well for at least two of them. Saede made to step forwards, but hesitated. Sayana has a hostage, if I do anything, he won't last long.

“Don’t you ever fondle me,” She said dangerously.
“Not without kissing me first.”

She leaned forwards, going in for a rather intense kiss. What. Saede just openly stared at the was-dangerous situation. She took a second to process what had actually just happened and why. Sayana just made out with Garland after being fondled. But, why? Did she just really like Garland? She didn't think they were lovers. For shock value? Does she do this to everybody? She had no idea. This didn't make it any less shocking of course. Her eyes were a deep purple again and she just watched in awe as Sayana pulled away from Garland and sheathed her dagger. She felt a pang of envy, for either of them really. Sayana was so smooth and pretty, and Garland was in well, in his situation. She wouldn't mind having somebody come up to her and kiss her. As long as they were decent people, of course.
"Sparring contest? I don't spar." She said casually.
She took a seat on Garland's lap and folded her arms. Damn. This girl's got guts.
Attempting to follow her casual tone, she replied,
"Oh, ah.. Well that's no fun. I mean, it looked like you were going to cut his throat for a second.. But.. I.. Agh.."
Failing her casual tone terribly, she just looked away, blushing. She didn't know what to think.

OOCI am so impressed right now. That was so smooth, I just don't even. Well played Sayana, well played.

The dagger, he had expected, in fact he expected to be stabbed in the hands for what he did. What he didn't expect was the kiss. The sweet touching of their lips, the soft hand on his cheek, the sheer surprise of it.

Everything was just a hazy blur of sounds now, Saede's voice was just a muffled sound to him for a while, he then felt Sayana sitting down his lap, he blushed, was stunned, and had no idea what to do next.

Though he did hear, Baker say something about fondling her now that they've kissed, which made him blush even more.

This was not how he expected his first kiss to go, though it wasn't bad. He eventually snapped out of his small trance, blushing bright red. He was tempted to push her off honestly, but well... He had to admit that he liked it. He looked over to Saede, was there a hint of jealousy there? He wasn't sure, but... Things just got very complicated.

He gently grabbed Sayana's side, trying to get her to move. "Sayana? Could you please... You know..." He wasn't going to comment on how tight his pants are at the moment, but hopefully no one will notice.

ooctoo far? And do I smell rivalry of some sort?

The Harvest Festival

Postby Sayana on October 4th, 2014, 2:19 pm

Sayana chuckled at Bakar’s quiet comment about the fact that Garland could fondle her. Apparently someone was keeping up but she didn’t confirm or deny his words, simply gave Bakar a brief smile. She then slid off of Garland’s lap into Bakar’s empty seat at Garland’s request. All the while she kept her eyes looking away from the squire and her arms still folded.

The woman with the spear was already blushing quite a bit and commented, “I mean, it looked like you were going to cut his throat for a second…” Sayana turned to her and replied, “Well I didn’t cut his throat.” She glanced at the squire and then back to Saede. “But if there’s going to be a sparring contest, I wouldn’t mind watching.”

With that she stood up and adjusted her cloak so it fell down her back leaving her arms free to move. It was probably time to get moving if they wanted to get into the tournament or get a seat there. She then turned to Garland with a light smile upon her lips. “Really Garland, you look like a cherry.”

OOCAnd that was fine by me Garland. Yeah, Sayana has a tendency of doing the unexpected and definitely not the "conventional"

The Harvest Festival

Postby Bakar on October 4th, 2014, 3:15 pm

Bakar had never seen someone so eccentric. And that's coming from him. Sayana had just gone from holding a dagger to Garland's throat, to kissing him, to sitting on his lap, then calmly rising and commenting on his reddened face. If Bakar had blood running through his veins he would surely be blushing as well but as it stood, he and Sayana were the only two not. He was constantly shifting, nervously however, while Sayana was sitting coolly.

The sparring contest was starting soon. He was sure Garland would enter. He told him when they met earlier that he loved the fight. He "went into a rage" as he had explained then. The thought terrified Bakar, but he was curious to see it. Saede, he wasn't so sure about. He knew she had some fighting experience but didn't know anything other than that. Bakar had a small amount of fighting experience, but that didn't mean he was going to spar.

Sayana was going to watch. Bakar almost wanted to bid his.. friends farewell at this comment, but didn't want to seem rude. Sayana was strange, but so was he. He never put his dagger to a squire's throat, however.

Sayana stood and allowed her cloak to fall across her back again, freeing her arms. They started off towards the sparring area, Bakar heading towards the seats. He was debating looking for a single seat, between two strangers who were bound to say something to him, or sitting with Sayana, the beautiful but dangerous new company.

In the end he decided it was better to sit with someone who he kind of knew, dangerous or not. The thought of being surrounded by strangers, probably drinking, adrenaline pumping due to watching the fight, scared him more than Sayana. She was at least connected to him now, if only because they had collaborated on the scare that went horribly wrong. Or right, depending on what you think of it now. If he was staying, he was staying with someone who could protect him at a moment's notice.

As Bakar sat, he removed his hood. He was here, he might as well be able to see what was happening. He closed his eyes and leaned back, relaxing before the fight started.
