Sayana grinned devilishly as Bakar agreed to her request. As he started to head off into the crowd, she quickly returned the mug to the lady at the stall with a word of thanks. She then started to sift through the crowd herself and kept her cloak wrapped about her, held in place with her high hands. Her other arms stayed at her sides and she looked more or less human. She considered pulling up the hood too, but she decided that it would probably attract more attention rather than less in this festive environment.
For the first little bit she tried to move as quickly as she could without startling anyone. She got a few glances but they tended to assume she was just in a hurry. It didn’t matter too much because she was still far enough away from the “beacon spear” to be noticed by the squire. As she started to get closer, she slowed her pace and tried to match the crowd’s movements. She didn’t have much practice blending in, since that was rarely on her agenda, but at least she had the advantage of her shorter height and that she was at least able to notice the ebb and flow of the crowd.
She was close enough to see her target now and it seemed like Bakar was also just reaching the pair. He seemed to be doing a well enough job, since neither Garland nor his lady friend had started glancing around for her. As a precaution she kept her head low and tried to keep behind at least one bystander at all times. She almost cursed when they started moving again (since a moving target is always harder than a stationary one), but in fact it seemed like they were simply going to sit down on an empty bench. It meant a little more maneuvering, but at last she positioned herself directly behind the trio and went in for the kill.
Hey Baker, have you told Saede how we met?
“Gotcha!” She cried in triumph as she blindfolded him with her mid hands. At the same time she also grabbed his wrists with her lows just in case the surprise caused his fighting instincts to kick in – and thus she appeared to be practically hugging him.
“Guess who?” She asked playfully into his ear without releasing his eyes just yet.
OOCOh and feel free to have Garland, or another character for that matter, push her hands away from his eyes
