AppearanceRace: Jamoura
Gender: Male
Age: 180 Years of Age
Birthday: 25 Summer 334
Birthplace: The Spires
Appearance: Standing at 7'8" and weighing 510 lbs, most would say that Isda is huge. Although, for a Jamouran, he's a bit on the small side. He has dark grey fur on him everywhere except for his front torso and face, so he has little problem staying warm in chilly temperatures. But it's not useful for much more than that. Isda has dark brown eyes, and small claws on his hands. These claws provide negligible benefit aside from climbing; Which, as a race ascended from monkeys, that do a fair amount of. Another trait he inherited were his teeth. They're larger than average and sharp as well. He never uses them for anything other than eating, but if he did someone would be in for some pain.
Character ConceptIsda is a long living being with a thirst for knowledge. He prefers not to make bonds with the short living races as he knows that any strong connections will vanish within only a few decades. Having lived in The Spires for most of his life, he left to gain knowledge he otherwise couldn't find there. Things such as foreign architecture and commerce, which his race knew almost nothing about. He intends to return to his home one day when he feels that he knows enough about the outside world to share it with those of his kind. Isda is open-minded and reasonable. Although, he is overwhelmingly a pacifist and likely wouldn't defend himself if he had to. The very idea of lying or cheating to him is disgusting and he thinks that those who do should be punished severely. Like most of his race, he's a little bit biased towards humans as they had attacked his kind in his past. Because of this, he's be more reluctant to trust them than almost any other race. He cherishes the wilderness like most Jamoura, and worships Caiyha, the ultimate creator of his race.
Character HistoryIsda grew up listening to the stories of his people, and always wanted to come home one day and share some stories himself. He was given a feminine name for 'diversity' by his parents, who were gentle, open minded Jamoura. Even though some of his younger friends thought this was funny, he didn't really care. A name is not given based on who you are after all, it's given at birth and you have no control over it. So why worry? Isda, like most of his kind spent most of his time investing into knowledge and learning as much as he could. He especially enjoyed reading philosophical books or hearing philosophical stories. The thought of learning the nature of life was fascinating, and he even took it upon himself to learn a bit of biology. He got a fair amount out of these books, but decided that he wanted to learn more about it from other sources too. At one point he even had a Chaktawe friend who was in The Spires to learn from his people. He had learned the smallest bit of Tawna from her, but it was still an interesting experience. Eventually he left the Spires to go to The University in Zeltiva on the other side of Mizahar, where he hoped to learn as much as he could. It was a long, long journey. Isda spent lost of coin on Boats, horses and other transport to get there, and it was quite expensive.
