Appearance
.
Glen is blue eyed and blonde, more than six feet tall, has a rugged (but not scruffy) appearance, and seems to live in a perpetual state of having shaved a few days ago. The front of his left shoulder is decorated with an ornate tattoo of some sort of whale, which represents his podGlen was born into the Wakerider pod. They are relatively small and obscure; even another Svefra would probably need some familiarity with Glen's family to recognise it., located above the blue-green waves of his Oceanus gnosis mark, which is usually over his heart (though it sometimes migrates, as all Oceanus marks can). .
Character Concept
.
Glen is a terrible Svefra. He cannot fish, he can barely sail, and his navigation relies almost entirely on dumb luck rather than any sort of skill. He was always more interested in what happened on land than what happened at sea; not surprisingly, Glen eventually left his pod and became a mercenary, under circumstances he is rarely willing to talk about.
.
In his youth, Glen struggled with anger issues, which eventually drew him as a career as a mercenary. Over time, and with violence as an outlet, he has learned to keep his anger bottled up, allowing him to seem almost civilized at times. That illusion is undermined however by Glen's limited education: he never learned to read beyond an infant level, never paid much attention to religion and politics, and never had any real affinity for any sort of art or craft.
