Urna Appearance Race: Ethaefal of Leth (Myrian) Gender: Female Age: 154 Birthday (Day of Fall): Winter 29th, 359 AV Birthplace: Syliras, Sylira Appearance: Under the dominance of the Moon, Urna takes on her celestial form and towers at 7 feet in height. With skin in a darker shade of marble that shimmers when caught by Leth's light, her heavenly body is a perfect representation of her Prince's pale beauty on the night sky. A pair of horns protrude from her skull, raising along her temples until they curve back elegantly over the top of her head. Like all Ethaefal still loyal to their deity, Urna's colouring changes with the seasons like so: during Spring her hair is silvery blue and her horns are pure white; during Summer her hair is jet black and her horns shift in shades of green; during Fall her hair is pale golden and her horns are yellow; during Winter her hair is snowy white and her horns are black. When Leth relinquishes dominance of the sky to Syna, Urna's celestial beauty fades and leaves behind a strong-bodied, 6'1'' tall Myrian woman. She abandons the heavenly characteristics for the sharp and fierce features of her mortal kin with ruddy skin, long black dreadlocks and the gaze of a natural predator and warrior. Character Concept Determined and strong-willed, Urna is an oddity among Ethaefal. While she struggles to come to terms with her immortality in the world of mortals, she pushes forward in search of purpose to make the most of her existance while honoring her Heavenly Prince. She has long since stopped grieving her departure from the celestial abode in the Ukalas and started over to explore and make good use of the extra time that's been granted to her. Character History To be expanded upon with Flashbacks. It's been a century and a half since this Ethaefal dropped out of the sky and crashed through the thin layer of ice nearly a mile away from the port of Syliras in the Suvan Sea. Her memory of the fall itself is fuzzy at best and she remembers nothing with clarity until she woke up several days later in an infirmary. Nearly drowned, Urna's limp body was pulled out of the cold water by travellers on the water and taken to shore. The coming years were dramatic and confusing for the Ethaefal as she struggled to come to terms with what she'd become, spending many nights simply watching the night sky to beg Leth to raise her back to the Ukalas and save her. Eventually, she snapped out of it. She found herself a job and started earning her keep. Whether she liked to or not, she was back amongst mortals and she was far too stubborn to take any drastic measures in hopes of returning to her Prince's heavenly abode. After scraping together sufficient funds, Urna left Syliras and travelled across the region to Zeltiva. She was determined to drown herself in a wealth of new knowledge to make her shot at a mortal existence count. After spending time in Zeltiva she briefly returned to Syliras and eventually travelled to Nyka in a vain attempt to come closer to the gods and perhaps establish some form of communion with her Prince once more. She returned to Zeltiva once more after a time, but her stay in the City of Scholars didn't last long. Her recollection of the events leading to her arrival in Sunberth are hazy at best, but when she woke up she found herself bound in chains and forced into servitude in this City of Anarchy. Leading her life in someone else's care from then on out, Urna couldn't find it in herself to leave. After finding herself surrounded so utterly by mortal misery, she became determined to do everything in her power to make even the smallest change in peoples' lives. Embracing a remarkable patience, Urna obeyed and complied with her master's demands to make her stay in the city easier. ... Until she outlived her master. For many years Urna was simply biding her time until her master passed naturally, using her newfound freedom to serve the people of the city and grow stronger.
