Forgetting The PastHistroy:
The meeting:
Ammy choose to forget her past after watching her family killed. She barely got away from the killer though. She first wandered Mizahar trying to find a place to live. She settled down in Syliras, comtempt with her new life. As Ammy was shoping around the city she ran into a really strange man. Seriously Ammy thought he was crazy, he was muttering to himself, and looked like he came from the sewer. His dark beaten up cloak covered up what looked like a horibly worn suit. Ammy apologized and quickly avoided any further talk by running away. Before she even got an inch away the man had grabed her rist and countinued to mutter random phrases. Totally freaked out Ammy made a mad dash pulling against the strangers grip. He let go sending Ammy crashing to the ground. After shouting at the man repeatedly, he turned and left with a smirk.
The next day as she wandered through town, again she saw the weirdo. This time his cloak was set down besides a large black trunk exposing the worn black suit that Ammy supected he had. A small crowd gathered around him he then yelled out something, but the noise from the crowd blocked it out. Ammy was quite suprised when a deck of cards appeared in his hand. The crowd grew louder then hushed when he asked one of them to pick a card. He then pointed to Ammy and shouted. "You there why don't you come and join me!" Ammy slowly walked up to him after many pushes from the crowd.
"Now tell the crowd your name!" He grew louder with every word set on having Ammy particapate. "My name? Ammy." She spoke as loud as the man to show she wasn't afraid. He turned to her his voice a little softer. A very wide grin on his face. "Now Ammy pick a card, any card." Ammy hesitantly drew a card, the king of spades. "Now show it to the adudience and put it back in the deck." He turned his head away as Ammy showed the card and pushed it back in the deck. He held the the deck between his thumb and index finger puting presure on it till all the cards flew up into the sky. The cards flew around then settled around him. He bent over and picked up the first card he saw. "And your card is the seven of hearts!" He yelled triumphantly. Ammy looked at the audience and gave them a this guy is a complete phony look. "I'm guessing I am wrong?" He said. "Well then what about now?" Then with a poof of smoke a card appeared in his hand. "The truth is that your card was the.......... ace of hearts!"
The crowd stared at him unamussed as he asked for tips. The crowd left leaving the street empty. The man sighed as he bent over to pick up the extra cards. Ammy also helped. "Are you a con-artist?." She asked with a smile. "Hey! For your information I am a magician. Gale the great!" He stated proudly. "Oh really? I had no clue."
The start of an adventure:
After making fun of Gale a little longer, Ammy treated him to dinner. While stuffing food in his mouth he explained to Ammy that he was hoping to make a living entertaining. "You see my father passed on the two cruical skills to become a great magician."
"Which are?"
He took a dramatic pause and leaned in towards Ammy.
"How to trick the eye and slide of hand." He then countinued to stuff his mouth with food. After awhile of chating Ammy had learned a lot about Gale.
"So were are you traveling next Gale?" She asked with curiosity.
Gale shruged. "Any were with people, and may I ask are you planing on traveling any time soon?"
"Maybe. Why do you ask?"
"Well I need an asistant see. The crowd seemed to like you sooooooo would you consider joining me?"
"Traveling?" Syliras was getting boring maybe a change of scenery would be good.
"Okay I'll go with you."
"Great! We leave tommorow!"
And on that note Ammy traveled the world with Gale picking up magic tricks along the way she had really bonded with him. Sadly after five years of traveling Gale passed away after dieing from some sort of disease. Ammy didn't want to remember what it was. So again she decided to forget her past again, but she'll never forget it, all the time she spent with Gale. It's always going to be with her.
