Sayana returned the hug and beamed at his compliments. She knew she was good but a little flattery, purposeful or not, always brings out the best in people. The Eypharian looked at the sword curiously as Garland described it and also mentioned how his parents had left it to him.
“It was a good parting gift,” Sayana said. “Even if it was the last… I mean…” She started to stumble over the topic of death and decided to quickly move onto another topic instead. “I’d be interested in learning a little. At least so I can hold it in a proper stance. I don’t think it’s my kind of weapon but you never know what the gods might bring.” She paused trying to think of what he meant by becoming more flexible. “What part of being flexible did you think I could teach you? I mean, I can listen to music and improvise. I can also think on the spot and change what I’m planning to do based on the situation.”
Sayana glanced up and caught the two burly men rolling their eyes, and she turned quite purposefully towards one of them. “Hey listen, if you want some chest –“ With two hands on her breasts she squeezed them together to produce some outrageous cleavage emphasizing the word. “Then find me on your own time. I’m with a friend here.” With a shake of her head she turned back to Garland and placed her hands back into her lap.
