Sayana returned the hug and beamed at his compliments. She knew she was good but a little flattery, purposeful or not, always brings out the best in people. The Eypharian looked at the sword curiously as Garland described it and also mentioned how his parents had left it to him.

“It was a good parting gift,” Sayana said. “Even if it was the last… I mean…” She started to stumble over the topic of death and decided to quickly move onto another topic instead. “I’d be interested in learning a little. At least so I can hold it in a proper stance. I don’t think it’s my kind of weapon but you never know what the gods might bring.” She paused trying to think of what he meant by becoming more flexible. “What part of being flexible did you think I could teach you? I mean, I can listen to music and improvise. I can also think on the spot and change what I’m planning to do based on the situation.”

Sayana glanced up and caught the two burly men rolling their eyes, and she turned quite purposefully towards one of them. “Hey listen, if you want some chest –“ With two hands on her breasts she squeezed them together to produce some outrageous cleavage emphasizing the word. “Then find me on your own time. I’m with a friend here.” With a shake of her head she turned back to Garland and placed her hands back into her lap.

"Well, just any flexibility would be good in battle, dodging etcetera." He looked at his sword, he kept it in as good condition as he could, there was a glint and shine to the old blade only tender, love and care could give. He remembered when it was all dented and dull, he had spent his year's worth of allowance just to get it fixed.

He shook his head and looked at the sword, giving it a little gentle touch. "It would have been nice to meet them, but not much you can do about that. Unless they're alive, but what are the odds?" He laughed and turned his attention to the two men.

"If you two got a problem, we can take it out back." He challenged and eyed the two with an angry glare. The two just scoffed and returned to their drinks with a small scowl.

He looked at Sayana and her exposed cleavage, blushing a little and just staring a bit. "Ahem, anyway what do you say to a little drink later?" He tried to look away, but well... He was a boy, and a teen.

The Dancing Stallion [Garland]

Sayana gave a laugh at his challenge. “They’re my customers you know,” she chided. She caught him staring at her chest and teased, “So you want some of my chest too? I thought I scared you half to death with them earlier.” Without her hands forcing her breasts together there was only a modest amount of cleavage but her blouse still highlighted her curved features.

“Well I can’t stay too long to chat. Kevith doesn’t like it when I take too many breaks, or long ones. Neither do the musicians because they think I’m lazy. But they also like having a couple songs to be in the spotlight. Funny how people are.” She got up and adjusted her top. The musician was already into their second song and it was really time that she got back to her performance.

“How about I catch you later for a drink? Like after my shift? I usually perform well into the night, but there’s always some time afterwards to socialize. We can also talk about sword fighting and the like, then.”

OOCIn my next post I’ll be responding to anything else Garland has to say, summarizing Sayana’s evening and jumping forwards to the end of the night.

Garland gave a nervous laugh, hopefully he didn't make her lose a costumer or something. He looked away from her cleavage, blushing a bit. "Anyway, yeah... I would love to stay and have drink with you. It would be fun."

He gave a small smile and waved to her. "Good luck. I know you'll do great." He looked over to the two burly men. "Erick, Joseph... How about a game of liar's dice while we wait?"

oocsorry for short post, I don't exactly know what to say and make it feel like its not pointless filler

The Dancing Stallion [Garland]

OOCIt’s okay, I didn’t really give you much to go on in my last post. I just didn’t want to do a super long summary post in combination with the previous one.

“I wouldn’t have known those two are your friends,” Sayana said with a smile as she pointed to the two burly men Garland had named. “And good luck to you too. Don’t forget to win.” With a wave she got back up on the dais as the song was coming to a close. She gave a grand gesture towards the musician when they finished the last note, so as to fully credit them with the applause that followed. As the clapping subsided Sayana announced, “I’ll be back for the next little while. So enjoy and drink up.”

Throughout the evening some of the songs were slow and sensual while others were upbeat and rowdy. The musician had quite a nice collection and Sayana was glad of the variety. Mind you, many of them sounded foreign to her ears but it merely acted as an extra challenge for her. She danced both on the stage and off the stage. A few times she even made her way amongst the tables. She loved giving her performances a personal touch, both figuratively and literally too.

During a particularly rowdy song she danced into the audience and moved in a much more rambunctious and flirtatious way. She shimmied her hips at one fellow and then her chest at someone else. Sayana even went as far as sitting in someone’s lap and gave him a quick peck on the cheek before heading off again to dance amongst the customers. But however flirtatious, it was all in good fun and she meant to provide an enjoyable experience at the tavern. You always wanted a good reason for customers to come back.

It was a few bells later when Sayana was finally done for the night. She had taken a few breaks throughout the evening, usually on the bell, and had stopped in a couple of those times to say hi to Garland. She had also wolfed down some dinner during one of said breaks and had a mug of ale to wash it down. She tended to limit herself to one drink during an evening if she was dancing. Nothing lacks class more than a tipsy dancer. Although later she could be convinced to have more.

With a finishing bow and a kiss blown to the audience Sayana stepped down from the dais to go join Garland. It was well into the night and there was even an empty table here and there. “So about that drink,” she said as she plopped into an empty chair. “First round is on me.” She stretched out her legs, glad to be off her feet after the long evening.

The night was starting to look more fun by the second. He saw the two men from earlier leaving, he waved them goodbye and then looked at Sayana. "You were amazing, Sayana!" He said and gave her a small kiss on the lips and waved his hand to order to flagons of ale for Sayana and him.

"First round's on you? Sounds good." The waitress came in with the ale and placed them down on the table. The waitress gave a wink at Garland and turned to Sayana.

"Nice catch, Sayana." She said before moving away to tend to the other patrons staying here late.

Garland took the mug and took a small swig. "Guess I'm more handsome than I thought." He gave a false smug smile, showing that he was faking being an arrogant sounding person.

He gave a small laugh. "Anyway, seems like you've got a nice job here." He said, trying to strike up a small conversation to start off the night. He didn't know what to talk about exactly, but he would just about do anything after a few drinks or so. Any subject would be good, he would probably not remember it after the night.

”Guess I'm more handsome than I thought.”

“Or just easier to corrupt than you thought,” Sayana replied with a wink. She gave a chuckle and continued, “Yeah, it’s quite a nice job here. Plenty of fun, people seem to like me, and the crowd is pretty good.” She held up a mug of ale to give a toast. “To many great performances to come, and to the sexy young ladies providing the drinks.” She downed about half of it and placed it back on the table. She wiped her mouth with the back of her hand and then stretched in her chair. Then she remembered that she was paying for the first round and dug out two silvers to place on the table, one of for each of their mugs.

“So did you win your game?” She asked, referring to the game of liar’s dice. “Despite practically growing up in taverns like this, I never quite got the knack for those sorts of games. Besides, I like my money too much.” She gave a chuckle and took another gulp of her ale.

He raised up his drink. "Cheers!" He said and copied Sayana's movement, drinking almost his entire mug. He dropped his mug down on his table. He gave a little hiccup and there was a tiny blush on his face.

"Huh? Game? Oh it was just in good fun, no bets. I lost, they regretted not betting!" He laughed a bit, and looked down on his nearly empty mug. "Though you must have a few costumers that were a bit rough or touchy with you or the other beautiful girls here." He said, giving a sly smile. "I mean, who could resist you?" He blushed a bit more, and emptied his mug.

The Dancing Stallion [Garland]

Postby Sayana on October 25th, 2014, 12:32 pm

“Oh I do have a few touchy customers,” Sayana replied with a grin. She glanced around the tavern. “One there, another there,” she said with a subtle point towards them. “As long as they play by my rules, I don’t mind. After all, what’s a little loving?” She bent over to give a deep kiss on his lips.

Her kiss was interrupted by a smack on her rear. “Oy slut, I’ve got a couple coins here for some real nice sucking out in the alleyway,” the man said holding out a few silver coins. “That ain’t worth a damn kiss,” she spat. “And in that tone, I’d most likely bite it off.” There were a couple of laughs from onlookers near enough to hear. Now quite enraged by her refusal and the jeers, he grabbed her roughly and forced her into a kiss. Instead of struggling, she used the opportunity to draw her dagger and bring it to rest against the back of his neck.

“There’s my damned kiss,” he said as he broke the kiss, but then stopped as he felt the cold steel against his neck. “Now if I were you, I’d suggest you go,” Sayana said in a quiet but cold voice. “And that when you come back in future, that you’re on your best behaviour.” With that she slowly released him.

OOCIf you want a brawl of sorts, you can have him start up again. Otherwise he can head out the door like Sayana said.

The man spat and pushed Sayana away, he pulled out a knife of his own. "Alright, you dumb slut, I'll have to show you some respect!"

Garland got up from his chair and threw his empty mug at the man. Garland didn't recognize him, so he won't feel any regret breaking this guy's arm. Garland went over to the man that was stunned by the mug that struck him on the head, and grabbed his wrists, making him drop the knife. "Ughh... I'm not drunk enough for this." Garland started bending his wrist at a very painful angle. He used his other hand to force the man's head facedown.

He pulled back his leg and kneed the man's face, breaking his nose. It looked like the man didn't come alone. Two other guys stood up and was making their way towards Garland. The man was whirring in pain, Garland stomped on his face to shut him up. "Hello. This your friend?" He said to the two approaching men.

He got into position, and waited for them to do the first move. He usually loved a good bar brawl, but he just wanted to spend some time with Sayana, and these guys ruined it. So he wouldn't show any mercy.
