ONE FOOT IN THE GRAVE

One Foot in the Grave is a mostly abandoned, former dance studio located upon the Peak of the island on the main path one takes to walk down from the tip of the island. It is lit by two large skylights, and the walls are covered with mirrors, most of which are tarnished, cracked, or in a relatively bad way, though mostly functional. No one is quite sure when the stuido was in its hey day. Everyone assumes the mirrors and interior were once nicely painted, but those days are long behind it now.

The only one who does seem to remember is the semi delusional Illistrid, a beauteous countenance who does very little but mope around the nearly empty studio, muttering about how once there were classes, lessons, how once she was the best dancer on all of the island, and no one is sure if this was before or after she was dead. Occasionally she will teach people, but this is only in rare moods when Illistrid seems to regain her life and composure, twirling around her studio in a graceful manner, and being exceptionally patient to all of those wishing to learn.

Usually one of the two doors to the studio is left open, as if inviting a passerby to enter, though currently...not many do.

Other: Illistrid is prone to volatile mood swings, changing from sheer bliss to utter sorrow at the drop of a hat. She is often visited by concerned Cicerone's, but most attribute her moods either to the fact that studio doesn't have much activity, or that her mood swings are the reason why she can't maintain such activity. Very few know the story of how she came to the island to search for a dead lover, and how the truth destroyed her...
