(Intro: Awesome gea'tar riff) (Enter drums) (Chorus x2) Take me down to Syliras City Where the Knights are keen And the streets are busy (Oh won't you please take me home)
(Another wicked awesome gea'tar riff) (Can't get enough gea'tar)
Just a Squire livin' in dormitories It's a place that's tough to sleep. I've been training all day and I need something to eat, I'll be watching out for criiiiiime, That'll be hard to find.
(I am just loving these gea'tar solos)
Bags of mizas I am not paaaiid Gotta keep training to be knighted someday. We're all tired, this is not a game. I'm not in it just to fiiiiight, It's not a big waste of time.
(Chorus x2)Take me down to Syliras City Where the Knights are keen And the streets are busy (Oh won't you please take me home)
(Guess what's next, that's right. Gea'tar.)
You must be acting on your best behavior, Or your Patron Knight will put you in danger. Loren Dyres is the one we're beneath. I'd have another drink but I'm still trainiiiing, Tell me to put the sword in it's sheath.
(Chorus x2)Take me down to Syliras City Where the Knights are keen And the streets are busy (Oh won't you please take me home)
(Insanely awesome Gea'tar solo here)
Cityyyy of Peace Cityyyy of Peace Cityyyy of Peace Cityyyy of PEEEEAAACE
Stormhold Castle hasn't fallen apart, Petri Alvikal is incredibly smart. The squires turn around with their fists to their hearts. They'll soon all be assiiiiigned - unconfined! On a quest of the Windoak's design!
(Chorus)Take me down to Syliras City Where the Knights are keen And the streets are busy (Take me Home)
(Let's just enjoy the wicked awesome gea'tar-riff-solo until the end.)
So here's a little something in tribute to Autumn's song:
Syliras City Words by Autumn Wilde Music and solos by Sayana Performed by Sayana
Note: The above recording of "Syliras City" was the first recording so there are a couple of hitches in terms of lyrics but it went so well that I wanted to keep it. I also doubt I'd be able to reproduce the solos.
Note 2: Apparently I'm not up to speed on Earth music lore - I didn't realize this was based off the song "Paradise City" (I hadn't heard the song before). So what I sang was my own interpretation though it's interesting how some parts of the melody are similar.
And if anyone has written Mizahar lyrics or even poetry that they would like to hear turned into a song, feel free to PM me.

Got another song. This one was written by Ainyi in a music development thread (second song in her post). I'm still trying to get a strong sense of the melody for this one (since all the accidentals are throwing me off a bit) but I want it to sound creepy since it's a prayer song for Yshul the goddess of thieves. So I only did the first verse + chorus but here it is:
Rise, waters, rise, You must never sleep The sea–king flies To lift you from the deep Sweep, winds, sweep You shall not prevail Laviku will keep His children from travail
When you feel like you can’t make it and the world crushes your dream Be the captain of your fate and know that life is one big stream When the tides of fate engulf you and you feel that you will drown Hold your head up as a royal and accept Laviku’s crown
Rise, waters, rise, You must never sleep The sea–king flies To lift you from the deep Sweep, winds, sweep You shall not prevail Laviku will keep His children from travail
Hope you enjoy. I had a lot of technical difficulties.
"OHHHHHHHH!! People from the briny blue, charoda and the konti, and yes some of you! Cheers to the plenty, the 'Vic's and the Hums! Feel the beat inside your feet and sing for peace of ALLLLLL!"
After which our friendly not-so-sober squire proceeds to fall off the bar and pass out.
Edit: In case any of you wanted to hear the instrumental of the original song.
Sailors of the Suvan sea Sail, sail, sail with me Raise your mast and raise your voice! Sing, sing, sing with me Through and through the briney blue Who knows what we'll find for you Diamonds, rubies, gold and more Hidden in the pirate's store
Born on sea, loving from the salty winds. Raised on the deck, from safety of our casinor. Skin made of iron, steel for our swords, To sail and sail will makes us free! Come on brothers sing with me!
[Chorus] I am a Sverfa and I'm sailing the sea Saily saily sea, sailing the sea I am a Sverfa and I'm sailing the sea Saily saily sea, sailing the sea
We have knives and we have sword Some of us are privateers Never seen the sun rise on the land Sverfa will never sail so slow Fill a glass and down some mead! Stuff your bellies at the feast! Stumble home and fall asleep Dreaming of the flowing sea
Born on the sea, grown inside a raging storm The boat is our cradle; the ocean shall become our tomb Face us on the battlefield; you will meet your doom We do not fear what lies out sea We will never stop and flee
[Chorus] x2
I am a Sverfa and I'm sailing the sea Saily saily sea, sailing the sea I am a Sverfa and I'm sailing the sea Saily daily sea, sailing the sea
(Instrumental)
Born on the sea, loving from the salty winds Raised on the deck, from the safety of our casinor Skin made of iron, steel for our sword To sail and sail will makes us free Come on brothers sing with me!
[Chorus] x2
I am a Sverfa and I'm sailing the sea Saily saily sea, sailing the sea I am a Sverfa and I'm sailing the sea Saily saily sea, sailing the sea
