NPC question

I have a question about NPC's (obviously).

If I were to create an npc who has a name, and does stuff (stuff = provides interest in a thread) but I will probably only be using the npc once (maybe twice, in the same time range) and he doesn't aid my character outside of normal nameless npc character aid (like shop owners and boss's)...where do I get the character approved, OR do I not need him approved?

That would depend on the context in which you are using the NPC. If you intend for the NPC to be used personally by you and not open for the use of other players in the domain, petition the Help Desk in accordance to the NPC Rules. If this is the sort of NPC that will be completely up for grabs for all players to use at their leisure then simply pass along a write-up to the Domain Storyteller of the domain that is affected and upon their review it will be added to the NPC's that fall into the realm of public use.

In either case, once approved the NPC is free for you to use at your leisure.

Aaaah, I have another question related to this question. What would I do paying-support-wise if I was using this NPC personally, but the character would only be in contact with my pc once or twice in the same time frame? (I don't even know if that makes sense...)
