Dellalas Havar Appearance Race: Human Gender: Male Age: 18 Birthday: 38th, Winter, 496 AV Birthplace: Ravok Height: 5ft 11" Weight: 9 stone 7 lbs, 133lbs, 60kgs Appearance: Dellalas is a decently built young adult at 18 years old, he stands at 5 ft 11". His face is heart-shaped, skin taut against his skull to make a very smooth complexion, his high and defined cheekbones paired with his defined and stern brow attract quite a lot of attention to Dellalas' eyes, which need not such support - as they are quite extravagant by themselves. Dellalas is quite a unique person, possessing heterochromatism: one of his eyes being a bold green and the other being a deep hazel. His hair varies somewhat in length because it is not paid particular attention to and is an ashen black in colour. It is cut away from his eyes lazilly - meaning his fringe has a sort of gentle M shape to it, and does hang over his eyes, especially when wet and not swept to the side, the rest of his hair is long and usually flows almost completely straight down to his shoulders. The hair is cut haphazardly, giving many rough layers to the do and it slopes slightly as you orientate around his head from the front, the back being the longest. His lips are quite bright for a male and are somewhat thin. Character Concept Being quite a collected and calm individual, Dellalas mostly entertains himself with random speculation and pointless observation. Whilst also putting up with his annoying little brother. Dellalas loves beautiful and mysterious things and considers magic one of these - being heavily interested in magic from a young age, even thought his parents constantly tried to dissuade his passion. A realist at heart, he can find both positives and negatives in some things and is very rarely black or white on a subject, as a result of this he quite often changes his mind about more trivial things, and this can lead to him being quite indecisive on things that aren't incredibly important. Due to his constant contemplation of matters, he can often become quite characteristic, outside of his usual tendencies, and even hot blooded about certain subjects: especially when talking to somebody whom he deems close-minded, one of his pet hatreds. Character History Dellalas Havar grew up with a relatively happy life for such a fluctuating place as Mizahar, and for such a corrupt place as Ravok. He was blessed with a calm mind and decent intellect from a young age, but struggled to properly socialize with other people. This, as he would say, is one of the few uses for his idiot kid brother who torments him to no end - dealing with socializing. His life took a turn for the worse, reflecting his surroundings more, when his father was stripped from his home in-front of him. Kicking and screaming his regrets, it was then that Dellalas knew he had been living a normal life at the cost of others' misfortune, in his later life - Dellalas ponders the respectability of the men who took his father, they didn't kill him there and then in-front of his brother, mother and himself. His brother took to thieving to try and bring in money for the mother left to fend for herself and her children, but this only attracted more attention gradually to the vulnerable situation. Dellalas put more attention into trying to further his education, wandering round listening to people and watching those who had crafts. His passion for magic drew him to more uncommon and quiet areas where he wished desperately to find some practitioner of magic. Eventually he did so in the form of a mysterious man, he presumed. The man very much kept his identity a secret but agreed to meet Dellalas regularly. Dellalas and the man first met when Dellalas tried his no-so deft hand at stealing a book from the man, the man possessed some considerable wealth in the eyes of a child and obviously was intrigued when the young Dellalas ignored all of his embellishments and easily snatch able valuables and instead tried to scurry away with the book. The man stopped the child in his tracks and after a short scolding - figured out the reason for this strange attempted robbery. As the relationship with the man increased and his magical skill did so too, Dellalas discovered the man was actually incredibly limited in his magical use and quickly ran out of the ability to teach him further. The last squeezing of knowledge from his tutor came from an unexpected source: his younger brother. Who pleaded to be taught some form of magic by Dellalas - who desperately inquired to the teacher. After Alen's snatching of valuables to support the crippled family had drawn too much attention and over-all the family were still crumbling due to the mother having to bed and board two children by herself. Dellalas felt it was right to leave, and so he and his brother left as swiftly as possible, in the hopes that all of her troubles would go with them. They left a note explaining why they left and for her to try and be happy, because they would. Language Fluent Language: Common.
