On the lore page for Ennervism, it says that the first mark of Yahal creates an aura that protects the marked individual, and anyone within a 10ft aura, from being corrupted/controlled/compelled into causing harm to themselves or others "unless it was something they had already chosen to do on their own".
It gives specific examples of chaon and krivas, and hypnotism, which involve the person with the magic/gnosis inflicting something on another person, and then the Ennervist negating that effect. Does it affect any negative effects that the person using the gnosis/magic might incur, though?
Examples -
With reimancy overgiving, one of the effects is whispers and compulsions to use your magic more, worsening your overgiving, and potentially causing harm to yourself and others. Would Ennervism lessen/negate that particular symptom of overgiving, or does that count as something you already chose to do on your own? (ie. you got yourself into that mess)
With a negative gnosis / a curse that inflicts harm (such as blindness when cursed by Syna), would Ennervism (temporarily) provide relief from those negative effects, while someone was inside the aura?
With vexation, the person with the gnosis is able to inflict/amplify pain... but they also suffer pain/injury to encourage them to keep harming and murdering people. Would Ennervism alleviate any of that pain to stop them being compelled to harm people, or by obtaining that gnosis have they volunteered for that suffering, and thus Ennervism can't help?
I'm sure there are more examples, but I've waffled on enough already.
Thanks!
