[The Bronze Woods] Friendly Sparing (Clemens Kos)

Arden nodded, she began to do as he had told her. Taking into consideration, the fact that he was using a dagger instead of his weapon. She gave a small yawn, her arms ached from the exertion. “Oh I hope this is out last spar. I'm getting really tired. And the sun will be setting too.” Motioning to the ever growing shadows connecting to the trees. Her sword began to shake, the weight was becoming harder to hold up. Arden sighed heavily before taking a left sided swing at the man in front of her. Aiming for his lower leg, not swinging for a hit, but as a learning hit. So that no damage is done to him. She doesn't know if she would be able to treat wounds correctly being so tired. After hitting him, or at least aiming to hit him. She was still very unsure on how well she would be at sparing, she really didn't like it, but also knew that Clemens wouldn't be there all the time she she needed help. And so that was. Where the need came from, needing to know how to defend herself, basic skills was all she needed.

[The Bronze Woods] Friendly Sparing (Clemens Kos)

The movements were slower, and less impactful for the both of those. He was getting quite tired, after all. With the last hit, which the man decided to try and deflect with his dagger, but over-shot the motion, since he forgot the fact the dagger was really shorter than his halberd. He felt the cold steel against his leg, but the swing was so weak it didn't really cut through his clothing or anything of the likes. After that was done, a sigh escaped him, as he lowered his armed hand, and rose a palm up to wipe some sweat from his forhead. That was going to be the end of their little training. They still needed to get home, after all. Kos decided to simply sheet his dagger back on his hip, and walking back to hs halberd after he motioned for the spar to be over. Just like before, they didn't really need a winner. If she learned the basics, his job was done. And it might not be all that noticable, but even he learned a thing or two. One should never underastimate your oponnent. You don't know how skilled, or how lucky they can be. And one wrong move can get you down on the ground.

"Alright, I think we can end. I suggest we get back to the city before we're too late." The man replied, as he slowly and somewhat lazily got the halberd on his shoulder, and motioned to the path they came from. Truth be told, he was quite tired. He'd love to just lie down on the spot, and doing so he would probably fall asleep, too. Not only could he get a cold that way, but wildlife would love to sink their teeth into him. So he led the two away from the clearing they staid, and back on the road, and towards the city. His steps were slow, but sure. Even though tired, he felt like he did something good with his day. And when all that is said and done, he was happy to be able to spend it with someone, too. He knew training alone wouldn't tire him out that much. But here he needed to be the guide. And a teacher wont be taken seriously if he slacks off."You did good. Hope you'll remember a few things we talked about. But if you can help it...Don't try and look for a fight, alright?"

[The Bronze Woods] Friendly Sparing (Clemens Kos)

Arden sighed and nodded. She walked back over to her sword sheath and placed the sword inside. “I really hope I remember it too. And I won't go looking for fights.” She laughed at Clemens, he should know her better enough that she's not one to go looking for fights. She's more of the peaceful type, helping others then not so much. Her leg hurt from the strain, the knife wound healed, but the muscle still ached and made her limp from time to time. “Legs a little sore anyway.” She began to stretch out her back, and her legs as well. Lifting her leg and placing it on the rock, bending forward stretching out her leg, then switching legs to stretch the other. She strapped her sword back onto her person before turning and smiling up at Clemens. She assumed that they would walk back to Syliras together. Seeing as they both live in the castle city.

Arden brushed her hair back, detangling her loose hair with her fingers. Brushing out knots and shaking out the leaves from the earlier tousle. “That was a great lesson.” She yawned and stretched down to pick up her bag, she placed it over her shoulder again. The air had chilled tremendously so it was due time for her coat. With a hearty sigh, she remover her bag and sword, placing her coat on then replacing the bag and sword back onto herself. Arden changed her eyes from there usually green to a soft honey brown, maybe something slightly darker. She kicked the ground with her boots, making a small hole in the shallow snow.

Additional Notes :
Arden, make sure not to Godmod. There were a few instances where you wrote that you successfully struck Clemens. While you can attempt to strike, you cannot decide that the blow lands. Even if it is something as simple as tapping him with the blade, make sure to allow him room to decide if he dodges or not. Let me know if you are confused and need more explanation.

Otherwise, good thread.
