Stretching northward along the coastline of the Suvan Sea, the Cobalt Mountains are the home of the Bronze Wood, numerous ruins, and creatures both strange and fantastical.

[Bronze Woods] Two is Always Better than One

47th of Winter, 514 A.V.

His hands pulled the cloak more tightly around himself and he tugged his hood up as he tried to protect his face from the crisp winds of the morning. Arthur was glad that he decided to wear a few layers of clothing for this trip; this could easily be one of the coldest days this winter for the Sylrias region. There was already a layer of snow that had settled on the ground, but with a simple glance to the sky anyone could tell the snowfall was due to end soon. The cold was already settling in his bones, causing his body to become painfully stiffed as he stood propped up against a wooden post, staring at the ironoak doors of the main gate.

Many would have thought the young squire insane for willingly leaving the warmth of Stormhold keep, for the unforgiving cold of the day to hunt. Yet, it was this freezing temperature of the day that made it all the more sane of a reason to be out hunting in this cold. Due to the many years of experience that Arthur has, he knew that this cold gave him advantage that many would only see as a disadvantage.

He knew that the deer were affected by the cold as much as he was. This meant that they would spend more time moving to keep warm and less time bedded, hidden within the forest from danger. And it only made it all the more easier for him to track his prey with new layer of snow that covering the forest floor. A true hunter would know that it was these kind of days that promised the best possibility of snagging a deer.

A light whimper shifted Arthur's view from the gate to his side, Baron, his hunting hound, brushed his muzzle against Arthur's leg. It was clear that the hound was anxious to get out to the Bronze Woods, to feel the rush of the hunt as he tracked down a deer for Arthur to take down with a single draw from his bow. Arthur absently placed on hand the curved wood of his shortbow, feeling a similar anxiousness for the hunt, like his hound. "Nayato will be here any moment boy. I am sure of it," he stated as his gaze drifted back to the gate.
