Appearance:Animal Form: The animal form is of a red bird. It is about 80 cm long, from which 40 cm is his tail. Mostly the birds feathers are in scarlet red color, although his wings and part of the tail is a mix of blue and yellow color. White skin surrounds his eyes, beak is in the form of a hook for eating fruits and claws are quite sharp for him to climb in trees. The length of wings are a meter or so.
Human Form: Slim, with well built body, Red doesn't look big, but he looks tall. The young mans skin is quite pale, even being exposed to sun quite often and eyes are in a very dark brown color, that almost completely melts together with his black pupils. His nose is maybe a bit too long, but lips are, like some would say, ideal for kissing. The thing, that mostly makes him stand out in a crowd, is the males hair. For some reason they are in weird mix of colors. Starting from the forehead they are yellow, then become slowly blue and then red. Why is that, he doesn't want to think about it. If talking about clothing, it isn't quite anything special. Red hates, if his freedom of movement should be limited, so the kelvic would completely go nude, if it wouldn't be against tabus and so. So, what situation will demand, he will wear.
Character Concept
Curios: If it is something, that is a good and bad quality in the same time, then for Red it would be his curiosity. Like, from one point the males want know, learn and try everything and with his talent on learning things, it is good. You will always find him doing his best, when his mind had been set for the target. The bad part of his curiosity is that, it also applies, when snooping around peoples personal businesses. If it will be something which had peaked his interest, the kelvic will try to find out everything about it. He will get annoying, stubborn and had drove few people quite pissed off. After those persons let out their anger at him, the boy will forgive them, as it would be their fault or get upset like a little kid. Caring: In heart, even if sometimes it is hard to see, he is a good guy. If needed, Red will help out with what he can. He will comfort one in sadness and will be happy, if someone is happy. He likes to be gentle to people, because he believes, if you are nice to everyone, the world will give it back twice as much. Generally: So, with these two being his most strongest characteristics, of course there is more. Red gets offended quite easy, but forgives also as fast. There is moments, when the male can get serious about the matter, but to him it is actually quite taxing. He loves playing games and will always enjoy something fun. In heart he is a little child, even if his body doesn't act like it. Maybe this is the reason of the fact, if he is learning something, then he does it with all his heart, like children usually do it in first years of school.
Character History
Well, if someone would want to know the beginning of Red's life, then it is as short, as it could get. The kelvics parents were both slaves, pets and nothing more. As their parents and parents before, both were sought, because of their beautiful and exotic looks. Mother was a golden monkey, but father a bird of paradise. They traveled from one hands to another until both of them met, when were bought by a merchant. He was a inarta and had planned to expand his production, by selling some kelvics. First, he made the two kelvics to mate, waited for the female to give a life to a child and then sold the parents off to two friends he had promised them. The child, Red, he kept.
Unfortunately a man Laniv came to him, when was the market day. First he was serviced as any other customer, but his blood froze, when the stranger asked him about selling any kelvics. It looked like he had heard from somewhere these news and now came to find out, if it was true. No need to slip into details, but you can imagine, that it ended quite loud. In the end Laniv managed to save kelvics, that were planned to be sold. Was it a good job, he actually didn't know, but the man believed, that every living being deserved to have a choice. One kelvic didn't leave. In fact it stayed with him. It was Red.
It was like nothing the little boy had felt before. He just knew, that, if he will stay by his side, everything on the world will be alright. That he also told his saver and, for a surprise, he wasn't rejected. Laniv became a father to him. He gave him home, name, if not quite original, and cared, that the boy would get everything a growing and living creature needs. Not being gifted with skill to understand academical subjects, Laniv noticed that his kelvic was quite different. With his curios mind and want to learn, he was capable to understand these subjects quite easily. Seeing this, the inarta took Red to meet his close friend and the only person, who he trusted enough. He worked as a doctor and was well know around the Wind Reach. So there started the kelvics study in world of medicine, herbs and philtering.
For everyone else Red needed to act as being just a bird. The mans family thought so which ended being plucked by a little brat. He felt joyful. Days past, months...years. It seemed, that a happy, bright future was in front of them, but then fate decided, that one kelvic was way too happy.
His partner was dying. A illness of some sort had taken his body and there was no one, that could help. Days by days he grew weaker, thinner. It looked like in a week he had aged by ten years. It was painful for everyone. It was painful for Red. The last night, upon on his dearest bed, the kelvic promised to follow him, after he will go. But Laniv didn't let him. Instead he ordered, as his last wish, for Red to follow the mans family. Never leave it and be part of it. Then he died.
First, Red flew away. He just couldn't face something, that would remind him of the time both had spend together. Pain was growing in his chest bigger and bigger. For next few years he stayed only in his animal form, living on what nature and strangers gave him. Not being able to last long in the wilderness, he always stayed close to Wind Reach and people home. His colorful feathers earned enough for Red to survive. But time passed and he grew bored always being a animal. He had interest in numerous of things, which only humans could do, so, with much thinking and plotting, one day he returned to the doctor.
The man kindly took him in. Red didn't came to be attached, but was kind and polite anyway. The kelvic worked hard to earn his keep and he showed a great talent. He learned fast and steady, always trying to do his best. While the male had a bit problems with philtering, as a medics assistant he was wonderful. So passed a year or more and in that time Red tried to avoid Lanivs family as hard, as possible. When they left the city, he felt relieved, but a sharp pain in his chest started again to grow larger and larger by every day. This time it was guilt.
After not being able to handle it anymore, the male said farewell to the doctor, few friends he got and joined a large group of merchants, that were leaving the place and tagged along as a medic for them. Their had passed away in the way to Wind Reach and it was better to have someone with medical knowledge, then nothing. It was a long trip with many stops. In the way to earn and save some money, he kept working as assistant for doctors, surgeons and so. It took him three years to reach Ravok.
When entering the city, first thing first, he wrote his sign up for citizenship in Ravok. Red had gathered a bit information about the place and it was good, that he did. Done with that, the male started his search to look for Lanivs family. It wasn't as easy, as it seemed in start and surely was dangerous. Only thanks to luck he wasn't caught as a slave or pet in the time. But in the end he found them...or him, if we are precise.
It looked like Lanivs wife had also passed away, leaving her son, Aleister, her apartment. You could imagine, that he wasn't happy, when hearing the news, but route too long had been went for him now to just give up. So, one day he knocked at the guys door and presented him as what he was.
It was quite a funny view, when Red entered his home, told, that he had brought a message from Wind Reach and then turned into a scarlet macaw. That day was quite loud and long, but it ended with Aleister letting the kelvic to stay. Now it is a year, since he moved. Red counts as a citizen and something as a housewife. While Red doesn't know anything about his roommates feelings, for him the guy is something of a big brother now. They have their good and bad days, but in the end both, or at least Red, laughs it off. The bed problem was solved quite easy, for him to just turn into his bird form, when it was time to end the day. While each of them had their own sum of money, usually what to buy they decided together. Now it would be time for him to find a job.

Heirloom: The only thing left by Leniv was his falconry gloves. Even being hard to carry them, the male had kept them close to him and usually wears them, when in his human form.
