.
Having been displaced from their former base of operations within the Gated Community, the Sun's Birth was forced to make due with that which was at their disposal. Amongst the structures located in their final sliver of territory was a practically-ancient apartment complex that had long-since been abandoned. After throwing around a decent sum of coin to make the structure livable, the complex had been re-purposed into a central hub for the militant arm of the organization. From thenceforth, the structure was appropriately named the Barracks and has since housed the vast majority of the Dragoons within its walls.
As a whole, the structure provides protection against the elements on a level that surpasses the shacks and apartments of the infamous Cheapside. The walls are secure and free of holes, the ceilings have been repaired, and the temperature remains relatively comfortable on a typical basis. Numerous rooms span the length of the complex, with each large enough to comfortable accommodate two individuals. However, the living assignments are most commonly a reflection of the rank one currently possesses.
For this reason, it is very common to see rooms containing four Raiders whilst officers enjoy the comforts of an adjoining room. However, even when cooped up with three other bodies, life within the Barracks is significantly better than what most can find in Sunberth.

NPCs
Name: Jaren Joander
Race: Human
DoB: Spring 1, 482 AV (32 years old)
PoB: Syliras
Title: Sergeant. Barracks custodian, Warmarshal's son.
Skills: Weapon: Rapier (66), Weapon: Buckler (52), Weapon: Longsword (60), Acrobatics (42), Weapon: Dagger (33), Riding (40)
Gnosis: None
Additional Info: Jaren Joander is the only son of the organization's very own Warmarshal. He, unlike the upstanding warrior who leads the Sun's Birth, is a stark contrast to everything his father represents. As opposed to adhering to any sort of personal Code or striving towards any honorable goals, Jaren is the sort of man who delights himself in the "finer things" that life has to offer. More often than not, these indulgences amount to spending copious sums of times within the local brothels and drinking as much ale as he can get his hands on. Due to his practically shameful behaviors, Jaren has been assigned command over the Barracks themselves. This role is, quite literally, one that has no degree of vitality whatsoever and often brings frustration to Jaren because of it. Regardless, the young warrior has ridden on the coattails of his father's triumphs since the days of his youth; even to the point of being named one of the organization's three Marshals. However...despite his numerous faults, Jaren is one of the deadliest swordsmen that Sunberth has ever seen.
As of Summer 518 A.V., Jaren was demoted to Sergeant for letting the Barracks fall into drastic disrepair.
Name: Prak Celewan
Race: Human
DoB: Summer 13, 470 AV (44 years old)
PoB: Syliras
Title: Warden
Skills: Weapon: Gladius (63), Weapon: Tower Shield (52), Weapon: Dagger (36), Organization (62), Leadership (55), Riding (31)
Gnosis: Evantia I
Additional Info: Prak Celewan is, quite literally, the most revered individual within the Barracks. He has been given the explicit duties of maintaining the Armory, assigning rooms, and general care for the Barracks as a whole. Despite the fact that Jaren has been placed in a position of superiority over him, both individuals are fully aware of who truly runs the Barracks. As such, Celewan runs a very tight ship and will not tolerate the slightest deviation from his commands. It is to be known that he is quite the agreeable individual, however, and that his edicts are few...but woe to those fools that break them. Having served faithfully within the Dragoons since the day of its conception, Celewan commands a multitude of respect and loyalty from his peers. He, as it is well known, will go to great length to ensure that his comrades are well cared for; even if it means butting heads with his "superior".
As of Summer 518 A.V., Celewan was promoted to Warden for his loyalty and aid in caring for those at the Barracks.

Goods or Services
HOUSING
Members of the Dragoons are free to utilize the Barracks as a housing option. Depending upon one's rank, the basic ammenities fluctuate. Any and all individuals above the rank of Raider will be given a standard, 20x20 room containing the furnishings found within the starting package. Further promotions will result in better living arrangements being made: such as a larger room, additional furnishings, etc.
ARMORY
As a Dragoon climbs the ranks of the organization, they will be granted more and more access to the Armory found on the premises. Upon reaching the rank Guardian, an individual will be issued a suit of Studded, Leather Armor and a Small, Steel Shield that is theirs to keep. They can also requisition a single weapon of their choice (Cutlass, Longsword, Spear, Dagger, or Shortbow) that must be returned by the close of the season...lest dire consequences may be faced. With further promotions, an individual can requisition arms for longer periods of time; such as a Sergeant's two seasons and a Chevalier's year.
