Located near the edge of the Sun's Refuge lies a seemingly humble establishment. When compared to the slumped, decaying structures surrounding it, the Gold Lodge is a mostly comfortable environment that feels almost homey. It is here that members of the Sun's Birth always flock to fill their bellies with ale and good food whilst enjoying the company of their fellows. Even prior to the organization's being ousted from their seat within the Gated Community, the Gold Lodge has always existed as the go to place for a warm, delicious meal.
Above ground, the Gold lodge appears as a non-descript wooden shack that is hard to tell apart from the rest, but past the small entry way one is immediately greeted by a set of haphazardly made stone stairs that lead deep into the ground. Once the entrance to a long since abandoned mine, the inside has long since been carved up to look something like a tavern.
Upon stepping within the establishment, members of the Sun's Birth are greeted with a cozy aesthetic. Depending upon the hour, a collection of local singers, dancers, or musicians fill the Lodge with their performances; whilst several waitresses attend to the needs of their customers. A warm fire perpetually burns in the heart of the establishment, providing ample warmth and a place to gather to hear tales of the organization's exploits. Of course, one of the most appealing features of the Gold Lodge is the aroma that greets each of its patrons the second they walk in.
Unlike the sordid stench of Sunberth, the Lodge always smells of fresh cooking. Day in and day out, various meats and breads are prepared to appease the appetites of the organization's men. What's more, these meals are provided to the men free of charge! This is due to the Sun's Birth personally footing the bill to keep the Lodge in business...in addition to pilfering produce from local farms...Of course, such an establishment is not open to every individual residing in the city; and as such identities are checked at the door. Simply revealing one's brand is the ticket inside...but attempting to impersonate membership in order to get a free meal is an easy way to perish at the end of a blade.

NPCs
Name: Iselda Doubtfire
Race: Human
DoB: Fall 22, 488 AV (26 years old)
PoB: Sunberth
Title: Owner of the Gold Lodge
Skills: Organization (41), Leadership (32), Cooking (27), Intimidation (35)
Gnosis: None
Additional Info: At a glance, Iselda Doubtfire seems to be a contrast to the reputation of Sunberth. She is neat, sweet, well-organized, and likes to keep a clean establishment. Having recently inherited ownership of the Gold Lodge from her departed father, Iselda has done everything in her power to keep the establishment running smoothly. Typically speaking, her guests are treated with the utmost respect and a warm smile...but if one gets rowdy or loose with their hands, things change in an instant. Iselda has no qualms about verbally tearing apart any man that shows her disrespect before kicking them out into the street. Brawls, excessive rowdiness, and overall unpleasantness are not tolerated under her watch; not by any stretch of the imagination. However, when treated with common courtesy, Iselda will make every visit to the Gold Lodge one to be remembered.
Name: Tarak
Race: Akalak
DoB: Fall 41, 414 AV (100 years old)
PoB: Riverfall
Title: Marshal
Skills: Unarmed Combat (85), Weapon: Mace (67), Brawling (55), Weapon: Lakan (42), Tactics (45), Intimidation (50), Flux (34), Leadership (47)
Gnosis: Evantia II
Additional Info: Tarak began as a simple Sellsword who cast his lot in with the Sun's Birth during its earliest stages of life. Shortly after joining, he quickly gained a reputation for the sheer strength and brutality he displayed on the field of battle. For almost two decades, his diligent service resulted in his ascending to the rank Marshal within the organization's militant arm. While charged with leading expeditionary ventures in the name of the Dragoons, Tarak is most commonly seen within the Gold Lodge during down time. Silent as the grave, his presence is the definition of intimidating; especially to those fools who raise a ruckus within the establishment. According to rumor, Tarak and Iselda are lovers; leading the former to diligently see to it that any troublemakers are promptly dealt with. However, no one is brave...or foolish enough...to inquire about the validity of these claims. To date, Tarak can always be seen sitting at the bar of the Gold Lodge whilst watching Iselda from afar.
Name: Bartholomew Porter
Race: Human
DoB: Fall 85, 494 AV (20 years old)
PoB: Zeltiva
Title: Bart the Bard
Skills: Instrument: Ocarina (45), Singing (32), Storytelling (27), Flirting (36)
Gnosis: Audius I
Additional Info: Bartholomew has been described as a momumental disappointment by those who knew him personally. Only a short time ago, he attended the University of Zeltiva but dropped out due to failing marks. Apparently wenching and flirting were more important than diligent study; thereby resulting in his expulsion. His family rejected him following this monumental blunder and Bartholomew was left with little choice other than starting anew somewhere...cheaper. As such, he mustered together whatever coin he had and made his way to Sunberth in order to survive through his sole skill: music. To date, he has managed to land a stable job working as the main source of evening entertainment within the Gold Lodge. However, he always seems to risk his employment...by flirting with whatever female passes by.

Goods or Services
MENU & LODGING
The Gold Lodge offers a selection of items that are consistent with the Taverns, Inns, and Lodgings portion of the price list. For members of the Sun's Birth, food and drink in this establishment are free of charge. However, for such things as Banquets and Rations, one is expected to foot the bill. In addition to this, members of the Sun's Birth can temporarily rest in one of the rooms located in the upstairs section of the establishment. As this "rest" is typically inspired by wenching, patrons are expected to pay a total of 2 gm to stay for an evening. Patrons who drink to the point of unconsciousness are expected to pay this fee as well; for the Gold Lodge will not tolerate drunkards lying about the main room. As such, they will be hoisted into a room or left to sleep in the street.
