Hey everybody!

So I really enjoy this newest wave of Vlogs on the site and figured that it wasn't fair to everyone if I was just watching and not putting my own face on the camera. Besides, I figured that people might have some questions for me after taking over the administration of Sunberth.

But there's a catch! I'm not going to look up any of your questions before I make the Vlog. I'll be reading them in front of the camera and you guys will get to watch my honest reaction to the question. Enjoy as I scramble for an appropriate response to all of your strange questions!

Why did you create Lucillus to be so... vice driven? What did you have in mind for his development and play style?

All jokes aside, I've always wondered exactly why Hirem got with a whore. Doesn't seem quite... I don't know... Yahal-y. Motivations, reasoning, etc. would help me understand Hirem better and bully him more thoroughly in chat.

Really though, this was great. And I felt it a shame that no one asked you questions about Sunberth, which I would love to do.

I really enjoyed this vlog, I didn't know you were doing it otherwise I would have shot some questions at you. Since I've always had a rather obsessive interest in Hirem (no shame), I'm going to see if I can sneak a few more questions in for him, although I'm sure people are waiting to hear about Sunberth and Lucillus next.

Anyway, here they are:

1. Alright, so I've got to ask, what made you choose to play the tragic hero character? I know you spoke a little about how fun it is to play a very faithful holy man who is sort of a mess as well, but I'm always interested in what process people go through to define their characters, care to share?
2. What are some of your long term plans for Hirem, other than the orphanage of course (unless you want to talk about it for others)?
3. I had to modify this one a bit based on how you mentioned Hirem as a "bad Benshira", but how far is Hirem willing to go for Yahal? Does being a "bad Benshira" mean he is actually committed to the God of faith, or does he simply know no other way or simply doesn't know enough about other Gods?
4. Also, what happened to being a slave in Kenash?
5. And, last but not least, in light of one of Goss's recent scraps, who are your writing crushes?

You'll notice I didn't even bother to not read the questions before I started the recording. It was a cute gimmick, but I think it's much more interesting when I actually get a chance to formulate a response in my head before I answer, so from now on I'll just be answering questions as normal.

Ohoho, now you've set me to blushing! I'm really glad I got to thread with you this season -- we play off of each other really well in-thread, and it's definitely pushed me to think critically in my own writing.

Here's a question for you: If Hirem's going to get more involved in the Cytali, there's a strong chance he'll get to learn about some of his past lives. Have you thought about what some of his past lives were like?
