Appearance Race: Kelvic- Raven Gender: Female Age: 3 Birthday: 50 - Spring - 512 Birthplace: Alvadas - The Gibbets Appearance: Velvet has grown to something beautiful despite her history. Her skin is pale, though not pale to the point where she looks like some doll. Her eyes are a deep brown, almost black. Her hair is a dark brown, with black streaks in them. She manages to look slightly moody whenever you see her, which suits her fine. When she smiles, it looks awkward or forced, which annoys her as it makes people think she’s not sincere about it. Her smiles are rare, and people always assume that they’re fake? Character Concept A few minutes with this raven and you’ll realize Velvet is curious about almost everything. She enjoys puzzles and can get lost in them for a long time, wanting to figure out every single bit of detail. If it wasn't so hard being an investigator in Alvadas, she would be one. Velvet doesn't have much guilt for those she steals from- she usually steals for the people that she thinks are on the good side if getting hired. If on the street, she tries to steal only from people that look rich or snobby and arrogant sounding. If desperate, she will forget her morals, thinking only about survival. Velvet speaks little, unless she's used to you. When familiar with someone, she teases them and is generally louder in their presence. Sarcasm is often used, her voice sounding serious, making the other try to tell if she is serious or not. She offers free services to those she holds close, loyalty very important for the kelvic. If she feels something bad, she often shows it unless she wants to see how the other will react. She also holds a small disregard for human traditions. Her problems come when she is fighting- her instinct is to run, not fight. The sound of loud metal clashing against another piece of metal sets her teeth on edge, along with bad memories. She prefers to knock her targets out rather than to kill them, though she knows it puts her at a disadvantage, she can’t stomach killing someone that she barely knows. The slingshot works for her well, promising a good knockout, though she isn’t quite good at it yet. If asked about parents, she tries to lie about it as she tries to forget it, knowing it hurts her more than it does good. Character History 512, 513 -She was stuck in the Gibbets for her first year of life- her family was doing worse in comparison of almost every family in the Gibblets, barely any food left on the table for her. She worked hard, as she knew the cuts from the Prince would still be coming. The day when cuts were due, she just needed one more night to get enough mizas. When she came back after a hard day’s work, her parents were dead, obviously killed by the Prince. The few moments were a blur, and all she remembers is that she ran off to an inn, refusing to live in the place where her parents died. 514-She worked as an barmaid during the day, thieving in the night. 515- The present. Velvet has dropped the barmaid job, and now works as a thief ( for hire ) full time, though she doesn’t get hired often.
