Having just spent the entire night out in the woods he'd stumbled upon this odd place. A place that was at a much higher altitude then what he was used to, and paid close attention to the water. He paid close attention to the multitude of Deer which roamed about the vicinity. Holland was once more subject to a mildly cold breeze. As if he were in winter all over again, although the breeze wasn't quite overwhelmingly cold just yet. Holland came to make note of several odd things about the place. How absolutely clear the water appeared to be. The very appearance of the water was odd and pristine. He refused to drink from it due to the look of it alone; Paying close attention to the surrounding area.

Although it didn't look like much other then a few animals that grazed around him; He continued to obsess over the water. No one was even present for now, Therefore he proceeded to extend both his hands simultaneously. He felt a cold breeze of wind; Followed by the warmth of the sun light. He immediately sat as close as he possibly could to the waters edge. He hadn't touched the water at all, but he couldn't help it. A sudden urge; A passion to come in contact with the water drove him closer. Holland criss-crossed his legs and reached for the water at the edge. He made note of how clear it was, and he placed both of his hands within it simultaneously.

He felt the absolute odd sensation of the water as it passed through each and every one of his fingers. How smooth, and fluent it was; how lovely, and how it flowed with ease. Holland proceeded to play about with the water a bit as he ran his fingertips through it further. He attempted to figure out exactly why it was like this.

Perhaps he could practice using his magic here. Due to the fact that there was an ample supply of water, and he knew very well that he had to learn to control himself better. Therefore he stood erect once again, directly at the edge of the water and simply stared at it. Immediately he attempted to figure out a method of making use of this water.Holland attempted to concentrate, and remembered what his father taught him all those years ago.

About the multiple states that res existed in. His father preferred the state of gas. Holland began having a flashback and remembered that res came in the forms of solid, liquid and gas. His Father battered and beat him upside the head when he didn't understand it. Therefore he ensured that although his Father wasn't present; He would make his Father proud of what Holland accomplished. His Father at first taught him about liquid res, and how it flowed smoothly. After which he learned about res in a gaseous state; Followed by learning about it in a solidified state.

With that being said, Holland wove about his arms, and gestured away at the water. He danced about and executed several movements; strange, but they were strong. Harsh, and could be applied in an unarmed-combat situation due to the fact that they included punches, kicks, and multiple other motions. Holland started with a stomp, and uplifted his right foot before he brought it down twelve inches apart from his left foot. Holland watched as the water splashed while he continued to concentrate. His optics closed simultaneously, and immediately he visualized a droplet of water and watched it fall from the heavens. Off into a vast field of beautifully pristine grass. Suddenly he heard a very well distinct sound of a drip from the lake.

A lavender-gold glow surrounded Hollands embodiment; the glow emitted itself from his skin. Which included wisps of royal blue, dancing about like a flame. Although the amount of res was incredibly small; Anyone with eyes could see that he was using magic. He could very well clearly hear the sweet delightful sound of water being uplifted from the lake. Although it was no more then a simple sound; He felt elated.

After that sound was heard, and Holland felt so elated he didn't quite know what to do. Therefore he continued, and further thought about how much of an art form Reimancy truly was. Having focused on the aspect of beauty, art and uniqueness. Holland continued to create multiple attraction pulls of res. Whilst he attempted to limit his use of res and the glow continually emitted itself from his skin; Although it was subtle anyone with eyes could see that it surrounded him. That Lavender-golden glow continued to flow outward in wisps, and he continued to concentrate. Whilst he heard several more drops of water being pulled upward. The pulls were weak, and he would need to create more of them. In order to suspend the singular droplets of water in the air and make beautiful art.

Holland attempted to compose a work of magnificence. It only proved more and more difficult over time; He concentrated and the more he did so he held the droplets in place. Holland also thought about the fact that he wan't simply using res he wanted to make something beautiful. Therefore he wouldn't tolerate himself being sloppy or lazy. He didn't want some lackluster piece of art that he had to exhaust himself for. After all; without effort the results would become sloppy, and horrid in appearance. Holland tried his absolute best not to lose focus, and he had to continually concentrate. Holland uplifted both his hands simultaneously he threw a punch with his right fist. Holland extended out the full length of his arm; and stepped forward simultaneously. A graceful punch that he felt the air flow about temporarily. He continued to move whilst he created more pulls of attraction. He tried to make sure that they were weak, and he wouldn't run out of res as he continued.

Picturesque did the work of art become as he'd continued. Pull by pull, droplet by droplet he used to create the art form. Only using single droplets of water, and had to concentrate harder as the time passed. Holland listened to nothing more then the taciturn winds. They sounded dull, and yet he didn't mind it; silence allowed him to keep his composure for this long. As he struggled to create the grandiloquent image using only simple motions. Incantations were quite the large reason for his concentration. He struggled to no end to keep his composure. Holland felt his heart as it hammered away beneath his chest cavity. Each and every breath he'd taken felt as if the air was stolen from his lungs; before air was given back to him again. The bizarre nature of the image began to come together, and yet it was so far from being completed.

The air had an incredibly intriguing smell. The entirety of the vicinity was simply whimsical. Holland couldn't even begin to think up the words to describe a place with such beauty. Vivid imagery, and idiosyncratic art; were the only things on Hollands mind at the time. He only continued to create the elaborate and spell-binding image; he crafted it using his res. Holland knew that He'd have quite the amazingly spectacular work to be proud of once he opened his eyes in order to see it. Which he didn't want to do just yet; for Holland wanted to see it only when it was completed.

Holland continued to breathe, and feel each and every breath as it exited his lips; he listened to it as it rolled off of his tongue. The surroundings were simply too serene and peaceful. Holland knew that if he completed the art here it would be an accomplishment. The drops of water continued to collect themselves amidst the air. Holland threw several punches in order to help him maintain concentration. Reimancy became much more then simplistic magic; it'd become an art form, and something He would always treasure. As his father always taught him to be consistent when working around with magic. For inconsistency could always be incredibly dangerous; that applied to both the amount of res one uses, and how the magic was indeed used. He wanted to know more about exactly what it was he could do with Reimancy. This was simply yet another lesson he learned along the pathway that he decided to take. Although it wasn't anything too special; nor was it his job to do so he would protect people and use it only as a last resort. Reimancy was incredibly dangerous, and yet simultaneously it was lovely; it could be spontaneous. Reimancy was a gift that could give and take; it would give it's user power, but it would likely take away a multitude of things if used improperly.

Holland uttered a few words, and rhythmically spoke to himself. This time he tried to concentrate on something much more odd; surrounding both his wrists with res. Emotions stirred in Hollands mind, and he came to realize the more he concentrated on discipline; the more he concentrated on remaining strong. The extravagantly vivid colored lavender-gold glow became stronger. The glow circled his wrists in small rotating motions and then slowed down ever so suddenly. Until the aforementioned rotation came to a stop; it spontaneously solidified. Holland heard the sound of cracking and crumbling. It became more clear as the sounds became more perpetual; stone formed around both his wrists simultaneously. Spontaneously Holland felt two stone bracelets as they formed around his wrists; obviously they were smooth in texture due to the fact that they didn't cause him pain, and they were thin. Had he just learned he could generate stone? Yes, indeed Holland learned he could do such a thing; emotions must effect the outcome of res used to generate elements.

Solitude, and serenity were the two things Holland enjoyed the most about this particular setting. Finally, Holland opened his eyes only to discover the work of his doing; although now it became extremely hard to concentrate on upholding what he'd finally done. Holland, managed to suspend several drops of water in the air in a wide array of ways. By using attraction pulls of his own res in order to do so. Holland had quite the work of art to be proud of, and as he looked about himself he began to realize. He'd created a complex image composed of nothing but massive elongated "Strings" of water droplets. Which looked similar to a complex spider web after a storm. How absolutely lovely; amazing to be quite frank. Holland had never even bothered to do anything like this before, and he smiled. Holland was infatuated with the absolute beauty of Reimancy. Often times in Syliras people thought of Wizards as crazed, and or bad people who were destructive. Yet, Hollands mission was to prove the multitude of those people wrong.

Although, Holland had to keep the fact that he was a wizard hidden away. Holland didn't want to endanger his life with something he would later be using to save the lives of others. Had he been seen doing using reimancy he would've probably been savagely beaten. Regardless of how treacherous it was to be caught preforming magic; Holland knew that he would eventually use it for the greater good. Despite the fact that his father wouldn't have approved ; of Holland going about parading magic as if it were a toy. Holland was absolutely awe-stricken and mesmerized by his own creation, and now he to looked down at his wrists. Holland noticed the bracelets he visualized being on his wrists; composed of stone were actually around his wrists. Yet, they weren't very tight and didn't constrict his blood-flow. The bracelets were actually quite comfortable and didn't hurt him in the least bit. Holland was incredibly proud, and couldn't wait to use Reimancy to create more works of art.

Holland made a rather short piece of art, which was three meters taller then he was. Three meters in each and every direction one could think of; As that was the very limit of his range of control. All Holland wished to do was allow it to fall; although he'd spent several minutes attempting to create it and worked hard to do so he knew that it wouldn't be around forever. Therefore Holland decided upon letting go, and dealing with the exhaustion that would come after. The amount of res he used might have been small, but that didn't quite mean that it wasn't incredibly exhausting and taxing. The amount of focus and concentration that was required to do such a thing was absolutely insane. Holland finished the work of art, and allowed it to fall to the ground some of the water returned to the lake Holland was relieved. Yet, simultaneously glad that he accomplished such a thing; despite it being simple that didn't mean that it wasn't incredibly difficult to do. Creating an image with mere drops of water was mind boggling. Holland begins walked toward his Tent. Where he would spend the remainder of the night before returning to Storm-hold castle in order to go and train himself further.

Grades have come.

Skills Earned
Observation | +2xp
Reimancy | +1xp
Unarmed Combat | +1xp

Lore Learned
Lore: Clear, Cool, Clean Water
Lore: Artwork of the Mind
Reimancy: Beautiful, spontaneous, deadly, and dangerous

Notes: Res is not readily visible unless it is being transmuted into fire, or one with Auristics is observing. My limited understanding of it is that it is a clear fluid, not unlike sweat. It can be a gas, liquid, or solid. As a solid I would think it might appear as a marble of glass, or water. Which in a way is its primitive relationship to the elements. Other than that. This thread was fairly good. It was a bit short, but I am proud of the work you did, and for sticking with it. Remember, third person past tense always.
