A day in the springs(Claudia)

10th Spring, Cobalt Mountains, Syliras 515 A.V

He made his way along the path of the region known as the Cobalt Mountain hoping that he had followed the directions given to him correctly. He also hoped that he could trust the old man that gave the directions to him as he walked with his tonfa in hand in case he would be attacked by bandits or thieves. He was sure that those things would be the last of his problems though considering the warnings of animals that lived in the mountains. His destination was only about 15 chimes out from the city, but it was never bad to be too safe. Taking in a breath of fresh air, he looked forward to finding the hot waters of the hot spring. He needed a bath, a good relaxing bath to get all of the dirt and grime from his hair and fingernails. He would probably wash his clothing while he was there. Nodding his head in the direction of other travelers heading to who knows where. "Excuse me, I just wanted to ask if I were heading in the right direction to the hot-springs?" The traveler smiled greeting him kindness while pointing in the direction that he needed to go. With a thank-you and a handshake, he continued along the path. Checking his backpack for the things he would need, comb, soap, razor, along with some other things that was there as well for his leisure.

That's why he liked Syliras, even though it was over crowding at times, the knights were a bit intimidating, and one never really saw the light of day, it was a good place filled with good people. At least the people that he met were good people. The part that amazed him though was that Sunberth was in the same region. He began to wonder if his parents knew about Syliras when they started their travels. If they really did their research on the city before settling, or if they just stop when they hit Sunberth. This was one of the many questions that he would ask them if...when he saw them again. His mind began to wonder around the events of his child hood. Remembering the smell of the ocean as he was hauled away to parts unknown before pulling into the docks of Syliras. Ever since then, he'd been left alone with no one to call family, and no place to call his home. Stopping short of the edge of the springs, he looked at the beautiful scene set before him. Lushes greens, and a plethora of other colors caught his eye as the steam danced about the surface of the water. This was a sight one would have to see in their lifetime. Taking the things needed from his pack, he looked around to make sure that there weren't any unwanted eyes watching him as he wedged the pack between to rocks so it was hidden out of sight. Didn't want anyone stealing his things when he wasn't looking.

Luckily for him there was no one there at the time seeing that they day was coming to an end. Dropping his clothing, he stood for a moment basking in his nakedness. To be free of his clothing and the world for a moment before stepping into the relaxing waters. Putting one foot in first to test the water a soothing feeling took over his foot and began to travel up his leg calling him to enter the clear water. A child running to his mother, Hannovi slowly slid into the warm waters sinking down to where only his head protruded out of the surface. A sigh of relief was let out as his muscles relaxed. The weight of the water hugged him gently so. Taking his hands, he brought some of the water over his face, slicking his hair back so it would not attack his eyes. Reaching outward he fetched his clothing bringing them into the water along with his soap as he began scrubbing away at the fabric and wrenching it out over the land before repeating and setting them aside to dry. This was peaceful and relaxing for the Eypharian listening to the silence of the mountain. Lathering his hands and covering his body in suds, he washed his hair. Scrubbing all the dirt and sweat from his scalp. "Forget the bath house, I'd travel everyday to bathe here." he spoke to himself as he went under to rinse himself. Eyes closed, he stayed under water for a moment taking in all the springs had to offer.
