We're not talking about starting anew. We're talking about creating a second character. You can hold more than one character at any one time and there are real benefits of doing it - if you're stuck in limbo, as you are now, you can turn to a second, new character in a different area and focus more on that one.
It's not just deleting Phaylix and starting from scratch as though he never existed. It's building a buddy for him. Not literally, of course.
Besides, it gives you the opportunity to explore any other cities in Mizahar you might have a passing interest in. You never know, maybe they'll be even more interesting to you than Syliras or Sunberth?
Like everything else, it's just a suggestion. You don't have to do it if you don't want to, nobody's forcing you to. If you're stuck in limbo at the moment and you really want to play, then creating a new character and exploring a new angle of Mizahar is one of the ways you could go about it.
If that doesn't interest you, then you can just wait it out. Spend some time just reading the lore.. it's what I do in my free time. Which is pretty much all the time. Every hour. Of every day. Gawd, I'm so lonely.
