On the outside, Impawsible Pets does not look unusual. The pale stone of most Alvadas buildings makes up a simple two story building. Unlike other properties in Alvadas, Impawsible Pets travels through the city with a good bit of land. It is fenced in, but there is enough room for the property to host a rather large Oak that towers above the city and shades the establishment. Behind the establishment, or in the front (depending on whether the establishment is facing the street that day or not), there is a fenced in yard that is often occupied by recovering animals, rambunctious puppies and their mother or a few obnoxiously loud birdcages set in the sun to enjoy the weather. From the street, these animals are quiet, and you wouldn't have noticed them unless you look at them, and you still won't hear them. However, once you step inside of the wooden gates, you'll hear all the animals for sure. The front gates are always unlocked, although whether they are facing the street is a different matter. Worry not, there are side gates and the possibility of climbing over the picket fence if needed.

Once you make your way into Impawsible Pets, you will find the inside is a little bit roomier than you initially thought. It could be the large windows that let in natural light or the fact that there are relatively few cages. Looking up, you will find that the ceiling is high and very closely resembles the sky above. This is benefit to the animals as well as a beautiful aesthetic illusion. You cannot see the actual ceiling, only the sky through the oak tree above, however the rafters cross through the view, reminding you that you are still indoors. The thick wooden rafters sometimes have little trinkets hanging from them, gifts from the community or art from previous employees or customers adorn the top of the shop. And sometimes, if you look hard enough, you may find the faint outline of Thuk's shoulders far above you, but unless he moves or makes himself shown you may not see him completely. He is not always there, but if he is this can frighten those who are not aware of his ties to the business. There are no ladders or ropes leading up there, and you may wonder how they've been put up their but once you find the owner is an eight foot Jamoura, that question can be answered easily enough.

ImageA few feet inside the door is a counter, where the clerk, Vinric will be. By this point he will already be smiling and talking to you about the animals sold there, the city's latest illusion or event, or even what he had for breakfast if there is nothing else, but you are free to ignore him. You'll see that to replace the cages are simply waist-high walls to separate the different animals. A wide selection of cats, dogs and other domesticated animals are here. Birds (such as ducks, chickens, songbirds and owls), do take up the cages, but they are always given large cages and the larger ones are simply allowed to roam the room. Towards the back, there is a small section dedicated to the more durable reptiles, able to handle the Kalean winters, even indoors. Three or four medium sized wooden crates are neatly tucked into cubicles in the wall, with small strips of glass on the side facing the shop, to allow light and vision. These are carefully taken care of to ensure the health of the high-maintenance creatures.

At the very back of the room you will find two doors. The one on the right side of the room leads to the fenced yard outside and the left leads to the animal infirmary. You may only enter the infirmary with the guidance of one of the employees and this is often where Thuk can be found. Animals only stay in the infirmary if they are actively being taken care of, animals that need long term care are placed upstairs and taken care of privately, out of the public view.

NPCs :
ImageThuk
Although he is the owner of Impawsible Pets, Thuk is not a sociable Jamoura, however his is the kindest soul one could ever meet. Although he strays from the eyes of humans, the intelligent ape is incapable of being rude or mean, unless you consider his lack of words as an insult. He prefers to spend his time with the animals staying at the establishment for medical care or the ones that are for sale. Sometimes, he even prefers to fade into the background, quite literally as Jamoura can, and simply watch the city around him. Thuk is an excellent business man, however very few have heard him speak. When the young ape does speak, his words are slow and deep and always relate to the care of an animal. Although polite and kind to all, he does not make friends easily, however he is partial to good caretakers of animals and those he deems to be as kind of a soul as his.

History
Still young for a Jamoura, Thuk had left his home-city in search for Adventure, but since then he has lost it. No one is exactly sure how or why but those who have befriended the gentle ape have theorized that he may have been enslaved at one point in his life. Towards the end of the 400s, Thuk settled in Alvadas. The stealthy Jamoura was actually quite content with the cities illusions, which often throws off visitors. It wasn't long before the Jamoura found a purpose caring for and trading the many odd creatures within the city. Although he holds Caiyha at the highest respect, the Jamoura has also shown plenty of respect for Ionu, hence his mission to care for the City's lesser creatures.

ImageVinric "Vinny" Jayovali
Vinric is likely the very first person you will see upon entering the pet shop, unless he sees you first, in which case you'll find yourself into a deep and enthusiastic conversation, willing or not. Vinny is a very odd person, which in Alvadas makes him a very normal person. Seemingly incapable of expressing or sensing dark moods, you'll never find Vinric without a smile on his lips, and rarely see them closed. Whether he is humming a tune, talking to a customer or cooing at an animal, there is always something coming out of his mouth.

History
Born and raised an Alvadas boy, Vinny had always held impossible dreams. His first wish as a boy was to crown himself king of Sylira. Afterwards a series of outrageous and impossible dreams caught his attention, none of which he ever could achieve. But as he grew older, the need for a purpose in life was far more prominent and his aspirations became a little more possible. Originally, Vinny never intended to stay long at his job as a clerk at Impawsible Pets, but as the man grew out of his teenage years he found that working with animals was not a bad life, especially under the wise and quiet Thuk. And, although his animal skills are not the greatest, he is the only employee who can really properly socialize with the general public so he often speaks enough for the entire business and is mistaken for the owner. He does, however, have a hand in marketing. If there's a new, hot topic of beast, fowl, or lizardy snake, you can bet Impawsible Pets will have it - how many is another question.

Please Read :
Vinny is likely the very first NPC you will see upon entering, unless he sees you first, which he will almost every time. He's worked at Impawsible Pets back when it was Caiyha's Care - a transition he rightly thought would bring in more business - long enough to answer any and all questions, however he shies away from doing any actual work with the animals.

Customers rarely speak with Thuk directly unless they bring in an animal for medical care, in which case he is often the first one they see.
