“There’s what’s on the outside and there’s what’s on the inside, and then there’s what’s actually on the inside,” Sayana said simply. “Maybe Orin isn’t really for you and maybe he wants to travel the world while you want to stay here. But you’ll never know for sure unless you ask in some manner or another.” Sayana gave a smile to her friend and went to take the porridge out from the hearth. Quickly she stirred it while it was still hot and added in some raisins to sweeten it. As she served it into two bowls she said, “I’ll keep an eye out for you. You want someone who doesn’t need a traditional wife, someone who likes thought provoking conversation. A scholar? A merchant? Maybe not a merchant if they are greedy. You want someone kind. Probably someone just as dedicated to what they do as you are. And someone who would happily stay in Syliras for a long time.” Sayana rambled a little in her description but she tried to think carefully about the sort of person Devi might be interested in. She wanted to see her happy. “Maybe even squire?” There was no shortage of those. And they could certainly use the help of a healer. But Sayana wasn’t sure if that was the life Devi wanted. Still, she’d keep her eyes out. The Eypharian sat back for a moment and enjoyed some of the food, quite happy to listen to the doctor. She puttered around and cut up some ginger to prepare two cups of tea. She also made a third with the Miracle Midwife herb so that she’d have some to drink before bed. And if it ended up being too strong, then she’d just have half tonight and half in the morning. OOCI'd be happy to close this up unless you have more plot points you'd like to cover.
