Aaze Appearance Race: Kelvic Tyto Alba Caste: Yasi Gender: Male Age: About 63 days Appearance age: 12 Birthday: 2, Spring, 515. Birthplace: Wind Reach Human Appearance: Aaze is the definition of light. Small in height and weight, he's a quick one, speedy and possessing great agility. Keeping a lean body, he is devoid a extra fat, those areas where fat tends to go replaced by hard muscle. His mocha colored skin is a slight oddity as he lives among the race of fair skinned people, but no one mentions it. With dark, reddish brown hair that he kept cut short, he easily blended in the crowd, when you weren't looking for him. He could be called handsome, though most only call him mischievous. His shapely lips were always grinning, small and white teeth flashing as he was seen running around. He had a slim jaw, his small face heart shaped like a barn owl's in nature. His almond shaped eyes were rather beautiful, though startling, dark and mysterious. Totally black, they gave the appearance of never moving. He didn't have white parts around his pupil, so most people pushed him off as a demon. He has a tendency to tilt his head almost all the way around in his human form, which is only possible because of his owl. Most people saw this as unhealthy and creepy, but he still did it a lot. While he had mostly unblemished skin, there was a scar on the right part of his chest from a hunting accident. He usually didn't tell anyone about how it happened, as it was mildly embarrassing that a bird of prey could get injured by a small animal he was hunting. Tyto Alba Appearance: His owl form has light gray on its upper body with reddish brown and puffs of white feathers. On it's wings and heads is a grey spotting, dotted all over the reddish brown coloring. The wings were covered in top-notch flight feathers, as all Tyto Albas had. The velvety down on the undersides of his wings and on his chest absorbed sound frequencies, and coupled with his tattered fringes about his leading feathers made him a totally silent flier, a great hunter indeed. The broadness of his wings enabled him to float along for long periods of times, so he rarely needed to flap his wings, unless he was in a rush. The underside is a very clean white, with less spots, showing a healthiness about him. He has a very distinctly heart-shaped facial disc that is sharply outlined with reddish brown, with the ear slits off, as to give him better hearing. His beak is off-white and small, but sharp and can be deadly when he feels like making it. The feet are yellowish white with brown, the talons long, black and curving, terminating in wicked points. Character Concept Aaze is a bit lonely and mysterious, keeping to himself a lot. Being a Kelvic, he did feel the need to bond quite a lot, but he still hasn't found a person to bond to. Being in Wind Reach, some people did value him as a great hunter, but only those he shared his hunting stories with. During those hunts, he was usually in his owl form, and didn't turn back until he had reached the safety of Wind Reach. Most people didn't know that he hunted at all for most of his food, eating his fill on the smaller game the Avora didn't hunt. As a Kelvic, he had his own views of clothing and wearable items. Clothes were itchy and scratched at the skin where feathers were nice and soft. He often went without, but when ordered by a higher authority, he grudgingly put on his clothes. As for jewelry, he liked shiny things. Cold and hard they are, but he liked his shiny stuffs. Being so young, less than a season old, puts Aaze at a rather young mind set and intelligence, the loneliness of him from his animal base. When he makes friends, everyone is his best friend. He's very easily amused, and sometimes doesn't use much common sense and seems like he 's testing things out that should have been established when he was a baby, but being incredibly young Kelvic (less than a season, honestly) he hasn't had time for everything. His appearance of 12, though, gives him a slightly older view of the world, and he is able to keep up an okay conversation with people. Being unbonded, though, he is not as intelligent as he could be. This creates a slightly unique boy, with very different views on things and people. As for food, and yes, his preferences on his meals were so much different that they have to be recorded, he eats only raw meat. As his base animal was an owl, which ate raw animals, no plucking or skinning, he was entirely fine with eating it in human form, though he disposed of his..... Waste.... In owl form. The small pellets that owl yarp were so very much more easy to clean, a whole lot messy than other people's messy poop. So, while eating anywhere, almost all the time you could find him eating raw meat in owl form unless formality was required, where he just got meat with thin strip of cooked meat and ate as a human, but went to the bathroom and yarped as an owl. He actually spent most of his time as an owl, preferring to fly everywhere and screech and hoot at people as he passed them. Ever since he heard stories at the nursery about knights, he wanted to become a Squire at Syliras. But, being born in Wind Reach, it would be hard to get there. He still dreams about it, but doubts it would happen. Though, he does have some rough plans on going there. Character History His mother and father were in a traveling caravan, hailing from Syliras. They and a few others wanted to go around Mizahar, and, after saving up money for the caravan, had set out to do this. One of their stops was Wind Reach, home of the Inarta and their Wind Eagles. Now, his mother was a Kelvic wolf, his father also a wolf. They both were bondmates with travelers on the caravan, so they were very, very close. During their travels, before they reached the city, they mated. The human bondmates saw nothing wrong with this, as it was only natural when they had been together so long. Once they reached the city, the other caravan members were happy to stay until the mother gave birth, but only under one condition: when the baby was born, they would leave, and have the Inarta raise the child as their own. When the baby was born, Aaze's parents were able to get the travelers a few days to stay with Aaze, which they grudgingly granted. They had a strict schedule, and they were already messing it up by staying. There, the mother and father were able to play with Aaze and love him as much as they could before they left. They asked a healer to watch him, because everyone knows healers are friendly. Before they left, they gave him one thing to remember them by: a small ring, with the head of a wolf inscribed on it. Once they left, however, the healer put the baby in the nursery, though she did come in to check on him. When they finally noticed Aaze was growing so fast, he looked like a small 4 year old, but with the intelligence of 13 day year old. Obviously, the parents had told them that he might have been Kelvic, and they hadn't thought out how to raise him. After much consideration, though, they finally decided to take care of his needs depending on his human age appearance, which would mean he would be Yasi when he looked 8 years old. While hunting once, at about 50 days of age, Aaze set out to test the meat upon a small wolverine. Gallant and headstrong, he didn't listen to the other owl-friends he had found. A stupid mistake on his part. During his attempt, he ended up trying to grab the mother of the little creatures, who then proceeded to attack him. He barely made it out alive. The scar upon his chest will remind him forever to think before he does anything. Being quiet young, and, with the young's ability to learn stuff rather easily in everyday life, he picked up Nari pretty quickly, though any other attempts at learning languages as he passed to his 60th day was horrible. Injuries A deep, long scar from a wolverine is present on his chest, from slightly below his collarbone to near the middle of his stomach. The story is told in the Hunting Accident.
