Quinten's Card Game:
Simple idea for the Card Game
40-60 deck of cards
players start by drawing 6 cards
At least one has to be a hero. If there isn't a hero in the hand, the player shows the hand to the other player to show that there isn't one and then re-shuffles and draws six more. Repeat until there is at least one
Then, 5 cards from the top of the deck are placed face down on a line. Those are the shields. To win, the player needs to destroy all of the opponent shields and then make a final attack. In order to destroy a shield, the player must first destroy all of the heroes on the battlefield.
After the shields are placed, the first player draws a card, chooses one hero, and places them on the battlefield. Heroes have different skills, attributes and some may even have effects. They also have an attack lvl and a defense lvl. AFter the heroes are set up the first player can equip a weapon or armor/shield that increases that hero's attack and defense respectively. There are also spells that the player can play.
On the first turn, the first player can't attack.
The second player starts his turn by drawing a card and doing the same thing that the first player did, but this time, he can attack if he wishes. After setting up all of the heroes, the player enters battle mode. In this mode, the player chooses one of his heroes and then sends it to attack another hero. At this point, the players compare the attacker's attack lvl and the defender's defense lvl. If the attack lvl of the attacker is higher than the defender, the defending monster is destroyed. If the defense is higher or equal to the attack of the defending monster, then the attack value is subtracted to the defense value of the defending monster. The value stays like that until the end of the turn.
If there are no heroes, then the defending player looses one of the shields. The card that served as a shield is added to the hand of the defending player.
