Although young, harsh sea waters have aged his skin somewhat and have given his shortly-cropped, curly sandy-coloured hair a coarse feel. Rugged, chiseled features are sculpted upon a stern facial structure, often adorning a good few days stubble, giving him a somewhat scruffy, shaggy look, with hands rough and calloused. Kai sees life as a big, complex puzzle where everything is connected through a prism of emotion, compassion and mysticism. He finds himself always looking for a deeper meaning in life, especially when it comes to his own. He can be quite an emotional character, though always finds strength and enthusiasm, even in the darkest of times. Curious to the core, it is almost certain to kill this cat, but the young naive Svefra won't let fear stand in his way of experiencing life, whether good or bad. Kai suffers from the need to constantly experience change and new things, this can lead to the young Svefra becoming impatient very quickly and his attention span is definitely no longer than a teaspoon. A child in essence, placed within the body of a man.

Oceanus Gnosis Blessed With The First Mark : Marked individuals can first and foremost spot Otani readily. Otani will recognize them and often seek them out to play and communicate. Individuals with one Laviku mark can also drink salt water and have the mark automatically convert it to fresh water for ocean survival. Individuals know the direction of the sea if they are on land and how far away it is (in approx miles). They also immediately recognize where progression tide is, meaning if it is incoming or outgoing or in transition between.

History: Pre-creation 　▪　42nd of Winter 503, Southern Suvan Sea close to the mouth of the Faleyk Gulf, Zulrav in an angered fit let rip a harsh winter storm across the waters. Found adrift, unconscious and lying within a beaten and falling apart rowboat in the dead center of the eye of the storm, where all was still, was a boy. Syna's faded winter glow shining through black clouds as the unsuspecting Tidal Wave Pod came across the drifting boy. With no one and nothing else in sight, they rescued him, finding nothing upon his person as to his identity, other than a blue stone pendant hung around his neck. Yet within those blue eyes of his they saw the bright sapphire gleam of the ocean and found the mark of Laviku upon his left calf. They saw him as a gift from their God and adopted him as their own. 　　However he had no memory of who he was, where he came from, not even a recollection of his own name. He remembers nothing before the day he was rescued, but there was a symbol carved within the pendant found around his neck to hint at his heritage. It was of Svefra design, the carving a clear symbol of a pod's markings. Yet what pod the symbol belonged to was unknown to any Svefra Kai has ever come across. Barely a day had passed after Kai was found by the Tidal Wave Pod when they came across a Casinor drifting alone, not far from where they first rescued the boy. Undisturbed, untouched, unmarked by the storm or any signs of distress or of having been boarded. The ship was simply abandoned, without explanation and with no sign of life. The Tidal Waves believed this to be the Casinor of Kai's birth-pod, of his parents. Without a way of finding out who they were or what happened to them, Kai's past will forever remain a mystery. 　▪　Nevertheless the Tidal Waves did not hold this against him. Satisfied that he was of their people they took him under their wing and raised him as any other of their Svefra children. They named him, assigned him the date he was rescued as his birthday and have been his family ever since. As he grew he learned as all Svefra children learned—how to swim, how to work and live aboard a ship and of course how to party. He even made life-long friends with a Sea-lion he called Lexa, who became his Tavan companion after he rescued her when she was an injured pup. After nursing her back to health she has never left him since, following him up the Suvan Sea as he travels. 　　However, since the day of his rescue, every night Kai suffers night terrors. Every night he churns in his sleep. Every morning awakening drenched in sweat. He knows they are memories of the life lost to him, but every morn he wakes, never does he remember his dreams. The memories of his early childhood and of his birth parents are to forever remain just out of his grasp. 　▪　Always Kai has had that nagging urge to uncover the truth of the mystery of what happened to his birth parents—to find out who he was, his real name, his real pod, where he came from. He could not let it be any longer. At the beginning of the year 515av Kai explained his driving need for answers to the Lia of his Pod. She gave her blessing for him to part with them temporarily, to find the answers he needed to put his mind to rest, solely on the conditions that he promise to come back to them when he could and to remain in constant contact. Thus he set sail for the Northern Suvan sea. It is there he hoped to find clues or any hint that could uncover his past, that could find what happened all those years ago and maybe, just maybe find his birth-parents - alive.

Family Ties Pod:　With no recollection of his previous birth-pod, Kai was taken under the gracious wings of the Tidal Wave family. Usually floating down in the Southern Suvan Sea. They are the pod of the current Champion of Laviku. Its members are mostly young and reckless and they claim to be the sea’s most loyal protectors. Their influences are the foundations for Kai's beliefs, values and tendency to find himself in a bit of mischief. +More to come soon Tavan Companion Lexa | 12yrs old (teenage) | Female | Sea Lion Concept: 　Lexa is a care free, sociable and highly curious individual. Her mischevious nature closely mirroring Kai's own personality so much so his pod have come to believe that they may have been born of the same soul.

Home The Puer Lavinium Located: Syliras / Northern Suvan Sea Moored: The Great Harbour A small, personal ship capable of traversing inland seas and coastal routes. Capacity: 1 Crew, 5 passengers, with a cargo hold of 500lbs. A quaint, quirky, cosy cabin; a simple home for a simple man. Heirloom This pendent was found around Kai's neck the day he was found adrift. It is the only possession he has that can tell him where he came from, who his birth Pod were.
